A good restaurant at reasonable price...they have a wide range of food options...their service is ok..there was no wait time..they served the food pretty fast...the portion size of the food is really good ...1 appetizer serves 2-3 people..and 1 entrée is sufficient for 3 people....but somehow the temperature of the food was not hot/warm enough when they served it.. that's why i gave 4 star..otherwise everything was fine.. Vegetarian options: They have a few vegiterian menu..
Today we ordered moo goo Gail pan but some how it not what we order in the past. We ordered it and I was looking forward to eating it for dinner but they messed up my dinner because that’s not what it is. I looked at the menu when I looked at my food on my stepfather, picked it up. The description is even right. I don’t know who made this menu, but they should be fired. I’m sorry you can’t change your menu item and then expect people not to get mad I am including a photo I took of the food and a photo of what the food supposed to look like on the Internet. The first photo is from the restaurant that is not moo goo Gail pan. The second photo is what it’s supposed to be. There’s a big difference between what they are serving as moo goo Gail pan and and what it’s supposed to be. The Mongolian beef and kung pao chicken is great. They usually are great but I don’t know who messed up this moo goo Gail pan.
expensive and simple disgusting! food is tasteless and looking like hospital food … chicken has no taste at all is dry and gummy! waste of money my whole order is going to garbage… stuff is rude !! avoid this place! chopstick in rolling meadows have delicious food with half of them price… will never ever go back there even if we are close of the street ! frozen pizza for 3$ is better than them food ! worst experience i ever had with restaurants… even looking at them food makes me sick !
One of our favorite restaurants serving not only Chinese food but Filipino foods as well. The dining area is clean, well lighted and social distancing observed. The foods were amazing, freshly prepared and with a nice presentation. Waiting time from ordering to serving was about 15 minutes. Portion sizes are big and pricing was just right. *Tofu with peapods, Salt & Pepper Shrimps and Sesame chicken are a big hit with us.
Have been going here for years and the most recent order the thai red curry was literally like a flavorless, thick gravy. Wife ordered Mongolian beef and it was similar. Egg rolls were still very good. It was bad enough that I'm not going to back again.Food: 1/5
One of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. I ordered a large soup almost $11.. whatever.. I get it handed to me in a stapled paper bag. I get home to take the soup out of the bag, and the broth is all inside the plastic wrap rather than the actual soup container… it gets better… As I go to take the plastic wrap and container out of the bag, the broth starts to spill out of the bottom of the plastic wrap there were two holes in the bottom of the wrap all over my counter. I have a few dumplings left, nothing else. I snap some photos, and call the restaurant. The lady tells me that “it was fine when she handed it to me”. I explain yet again what happened and ask how I could have known the plastic wrap had holes in it if the bag was stapled shut? Notice in the photos the paper bag isn’t wet… so obviously it would have looked fine when you handed it to me stapled shut. She didn’t seem to comprehend what I was saying. I asked for a new soup when I come back next time. She offers me a small instead of a large and has no other options. If you’re really going to argue with me over a $10 soup and try claiming I sabotaged my dinner then I have no other words. Absolutely speechless that they think this is good customer service. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars here. Never again. I’ll never return and will pass this onto others. Shame on this restaurant and shame on the lady who doesn’t understand how to treat customers. Disgusting.
Excellent service and the best food in town. I've been dining here for years and it never disappoints. The mongolian beef, egg rolls, and crab rangoon are the best I've ever had. Despite moving, I still return to Mt. Prospect for House of Szechwan bc no one else can do it better.Food: 5/5
First time trying this place. I order hot & sour soup, pepper beef, beef lo mein and chicken fried rice. All delicious. I would just add that the pepper beef had little beef, it has mostly green pepper, but it was tasty. Parking: I went on a Sunday around 5:00pm and there were plenty of space to park. The parking is part of a plaza so, not sure if during week days are busier than usual.
Absolutely delicious! My family has enjoyed this restaurant for years and it is ALWAYS consistently perfect. Best egg rolls EVER!
Meat quality has gotten very bad. Beef n broccoli and Mongolian beef were not edable. Chicken fried rice tasted old. Everything was very salty.Food: 1/5
