This is our neighborhood library. It is the smallest library branch in the system--which I find incredibly endearing. It has a wonderfully rich children's section with inclusive selections to reflect the diverse background of families that make up our part of city. The librarians as all librarians are are wonderful and helpful.
They were very kind even with my kids running around and that's really what I look at in libraries because I can't always control my kids the way I'm asked while I'm trying to work on the computer. And I felt very accommodated while I was there
My review is specific to the Baby Rhyme Time, I haven't used any of the other services, so I really can't review. Baby Rhyme Time is a great free resources for parents with little ones under 2 years to come and enjoy stories, music and play time. I wish I remembered the woman's name, but she is a great storyteller and musician. I highly recommend attending with your baby. The staff are also very friendly and always remember my daughter and I!
The Librarians remember you if you're a regular. Which is awesome. Especially for the kiddos. The Librarians are super helpful, knowledgeable, and personable. I've always had a positive experience.
Good library in the Lakeview area. It has a good selection of books for all ages. They also have a significant selection of Chinese books. Overall quite the good library.
As far as library's go it's pretty so-so, but it's a branch library so maybe I'm too critical. It's pretty small, though it had a few tables for study that have power available, the internet is moderately fast, and they have computers available for use.
This building is incredible. You have to visit the top floor which they call the winter garden. They offer a lot of different things to do there. They had puzzles out and that sort of thing. They had wifi which had pretty good signal. Visit the top!
Great staff at the local branch library. If you check out a lot of books, they'll recognize you on sight, and they'll fetch your holds for you.
Small library but clean and quiet.
