“Appetit a coffee shop situated in Parow /centre and has new owners. And I always like to have coffee at numerous coffee shops / restaurant to taste the different products. I order a bottle of water as I know there coffee is not very good. While waiting on a friend I ordered a chicken schnitzel. I waited about 20 minutes for the food, which I do not have a problem with as I had all the time on that day, when my food arrived, I thank the waiter and continued with my conversation. I notice something on my chicken, but could not really check as the conversation was very intense, eventually I needed to check, only to realized that there was a weird string on my chicken. At first I thought it was the cheese. But then I lifted it up and it was a piece of string wool . I called the waiter and informed him about it, he took my plate only to return two minutes later, apologized,. Put the plate in front of me and said, the chef apologized and said that it was a piece of the cloth that he was using. They only removed the string . I looked at him and ask, should I eat this or are you going to prepare another one?? Before he could answer I cancelled the order…

the waiter was an older gentleman with such a wonderful outlook on life and charming....
Very nice and neat restaurant/friendly staff.
