Bella Italia has been a landmark in Sea Point for 17 years. Originally, the ever popular Caponero which was an institution in Sea Point in the 70's. Family owned and run, expect to get your home cooked Italian food including delicious desserts made my the owners wife. A wood fire pizza oven producing the best thin based pizza in Sea Point! I was really looking forward to a good Italian dish in Cape Town. Saw Bella Italia and there one other one straight across the street but I chose this. The beef lasagna was probably a 4/10. Only because I was looking for a very authentic Italian pizza. It tasted too like Bolognaise and possibly had no Bechamel sauce at all. I was quite underwhelmed, but possibly because I had high standards and expectations of what a good lasagna tastes like. So I didn't give any feedback, just ate half of it and left as I was famished. The red latte being a rooibos tea but with milk was a bit of a bad idea. Rooibos taste better as black tea. But again, I just went with the flow and didn't bother sharing my sentiments, it was a lesson for me not to try it again.

Members of the clean plate club! Low key phenomenal, no fuss Italian. Lasagna is out of this world, ravioli is to notch, and pizza is super solid. Great value for money and a better overall experience than other Italian in the area.
We had dinner at this cosy restaurant in Sea Point. Loved the feel and atmosphere and the pizza was really awesome. The host Mathew went out of his way to add spark to the experience and his knowledge of Italian food and its background was enlightening and so cool. It was one of my greatest food experiences in Cape Town. This is a sure stop if you want to have a memorable meal.
The Best Pizza, so delicious every time. I love the fresh ingredients and the decor is really beautiful inside. I don’t love the outside seating area but it’s okay. They make the best Aperol Spritz , the real Italian way. If you have been to Italy, this will be a nice nostalgic experience with the decor and food. The staff AMAZING, really kind and helpful. If you are travelling with family and children this is a great spot. Also very close to hotels and activities. They have a well sized menu with competitive pricing throughout great for a treat or daily dining Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Amazing food. Great service. And the venue/ambiance will leave you feeling like you are in Italy somewhere

Popped in at bella for the 1st time. Had their R40 breakfast deal , egg and bacon roll with a coffee. The meal was amazing, the coffee was to die for haha! and our host Farrid was Fantastic. Will be seeing you soon.... oftenly.
Really nice, authentic Italian. Reasonable prices, nice food.
Staying over at the Royal Atlantic, me and the wife needed some Pizza! We took a take away and had a beer! Very nice staff and great pizza !!!!
