Maybe the best pizza dough crust I've had in CT. Excellent.
Food was good but our waitress was pretty unfriendly. Perhaps had just been having a bad day but I saw many people commenting on it as it brings the mood down especially when there for a birthday party. Food was good. 2 of us shared the vegetarian Smoked Pizza, the Ital Chips Potato Wedges and the Ortofritto. They were all well seasoned. If you like quite a chewy pizza crust you'll enjoy their pizzas.
Definitely worth visiting. Their food flavours are quite different from most other CT restaurants, particularly for Italian cuisine, while they still offering dishes that are recognisable and enjoyable. Fresh food and good service. Small menu but something for everyone and an amazing wine list. My main complaint is that it is very noisy and can be difficult to hear fellow guests even at a small table of 4. A worthwhile visit but not my personal favourite.
I always wanted to try the food at Bocca. Wow, delicious! We ordered a pizza to share for lunch and immediately ordered a second one. True Italian Pizza with a really good base and toppings to choose from. Highly recommend and definately going back to try the rest of the menu!!
Had dinner there last night. Really wanted to get a good feel for the place so we spent a long time here and ordered a bunch of dishes and everything was perfectly made and absolutely delicious. Anna was a great hostess. Portions are focussed on tapas style eating and we loved it. Will definitely be see’ing a lot more of me.
Good selection of original tapas, but very overpriced for the portion size and quality of the dishes. Menu options are indicated to be tapas portion sizes and they recommend pairing multiple dishes, however the price of each dish is pretty much the same as the full portion equivalent at any other restaurant. Any 2 dishes will easily set you back at least R180. My beef brisket was really tasty. The pasta ragu had good flavour, although it was still a standard pasta dish but at a price of R145 you expect more.
The wine list here is excellent and I have always throughly enjoyed all the meals I have had here. Their pizza is excellent. I was sadly disappointed by the pannacotta I had when last I visited - it did not have the signature wobble pannacotta requires and the flavour was nothing to write home about. It is a shame because the experience was great otherwise.
Best pizza in CT......this was my previous post. How sad. Poor, cocky and arrogant service ...or a lack thereof. Management need to train their staff. Its unforgivable to have good service one night and poor the next. Especially on valentines eve. Will inform my dinning blog of this poor service.
The food was very poor the portions is small for the prices charge. The Pizza was dry when we ask for Olive oil or Balsamic vinegar these condiments were charge for. Wont recommend this restaurant to my friends or acquaintances.
I love this place for an easy Italian meal. Start with a bowl of olives, share a pizza and try one of their slow roasted dishes recommend the lamb. I'm getting hungry now even writing this review!
