Restaurant at Villa 47

The best up-market Italian restaurant in Cape Town Central, especially so if you are looking for something else than pizza or pasta dishes. We have been to Villa 47 on two occasions in the past 3 months. Their customer service is impeccable, you can book online, and their dishes are absolutely mouth watering. I love their menu options, great seafood, vegetarian, meat and pasta options.

Just had lunch at this restaurant with friends and was absolutely disgusted with the level of service as well as the poorly presented food! The waiter that served us was horrendous and so rude. We paid our bill and never even had a thank you from the waiter. One of the meals was a lamb shoulder which not only was very dry but also pretty cold. I also ordered a tomato soup which tasted like a warmed up bolognaise sauce. The staff were too busy chatting to each other rather than attending to their customers. ABSOLUTELY DREADFUL.

You know the meal is good when the conversation drops. Villa never disappoints, great service from Skylah! Well priced for the portion sizes! We had a cold meat platter to start and the Villa 47 Ragu and Ravioli, sadly we were too full for dessert but will definitely be back for it!

It's a cozy place for a great coffee or hot chocolate, as well as for lunch or dinner. The environment is beautiful and served by friendly and polite people. The food is tasty and full of flavors at least the one in the photos. If you are hungry, this is the correct place.

The good: - nice outdoor seating - delicious seafood spaghetti - highly recommended The bad: - lower than average level of service - it was either hard to get staff’s attention or they were bringing the wrong order still rather than sparkling water - event though we asked twice. Comparing to great level of service one can get in Cape Town- very disappointing. - seafood platter - few prawns big heads with small bodies, mini calamari and small pieces of fish. Everything was fresh, but you can get fresh seafood anywhere in Cape Town. No salad or sides. I’d understand if it was a starter, but main dish? Big disappointment. Overall: below expectations

Fine dining experience. Even the serviettes are better quality than some towels...lol Food is top quality, servings are small and very expensive. You must have deep pockets to eat here. Tuna meal can easily cost you R255.

Excellent customer service the music brings the perfect vibe on a sunny morning. Feels as if I’m in exchange place or Long Island city and the breakfast is yummy

My friend Azer introduced me to Villa 47 many years again and since then I have been going regularly. I always go for my birthday and have lots of guests at the private area in the back. The team is so amazing that they always add my favourite dish to the menu when we book! That’s just how amazing they are ! The staff are just absolutely awesome and they have been for years. It’s lovely that they treat everyone that eats there like family. Everything about Villa 47 is just heavenly. I will continue supporting this incredible establishment monthly. It’s a must for the soul
