Waitress had zero interested in servicing us, let alone working at the establishment. Food arrived for everyone, but they had forgotten to even make mine. Wanted to order a rump steak, but were told they were out of stock. A thank you to the manager who did his best to rectify a very poor experience.
This was the most horrific dining experience experience I have ever come across. The waitrans are pathetic and completely disinterested and oblivious to their customers. The management is none the better, when I went to complain about being kept waiting, he decided that would be a good time to have a shouting match with the waitress instead of apologizing and reassuring us, his paying customers. The service was absolutely terrible. A table of 12 people were kept waiting, the food arrived after an hour and it was nothing to write home about. Not once did our waitress check on us. Our table was not cleared after we ate. We then requested the bill to be brought to us by the manager, mind you our table had still not been cleared. At this point our original waitress had vanished and the manager could not care less about our request We had to stand up and pay our bill at the counter. This is the worst place you could ever choose for a meal, we definitely will not be returning. If it was possible to give 0 stars I would!
First off, let me say, the food was decent. Not brilliant, but nothing to complain about either. The service was extremely slow. Painfully so actually... waiting for 45 minutes for a passion fruit and lemonade can not be normal, especially considering the place was almost empty. Then, the serving of the food. By the time the last person at our table of 9 received their food, the other 8 were finished. And that would still not be the worst thing, but the other 8 also got their food in shifts. 3 people got their food, but not everything they ordered. Halfway through their meal, the next 2 received theirs. And so it carried on. Person 7, 8 also same story. At the end of the session, which was over 2 hours for one course served, we actually cancelled most of the side orders that were ordered because they never arrived. Excuse given was that there was a disaster in the kitchen, but no manager ever came to explain, apologize or offer any kind of discount or compensation. Extremely disappointed, as we have been frequenting Breeze for years, but the experience is getting worse with every visit.
So first off, let's start with the good. The food was great, side chips portion was a bit small in my opinion, but they made it perfectly. Pizza was also amazing. Then, I'd like to give an honorable mention to Lawrence, he single-handedly changed this rating from a 1 to a 3. Now, where they dropped the ball: we arrived during peak time, was not greeted nor seated. Found a table after around 5min of standing around. Once we sat down, we waited around 10-15min probably longer, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt,then I went in to ask if one of the waiters would be willing to assist us or at least provide us with a menu, to which one confirmed she will be right with us. Awesome, I went to sit down again. Around 10min later, my wife asked that I just go get us something to drink. Went to the bar, bartender was very friendly and assisted us immediately. I asked if he could just send someone our way with menus and to take our order. Then, after nearly an hour of chilling, Lawrence arrived. He was really apologetic and a lovely waiter, which was a welcomed response. After taking our order, he even came back to say that the pizzas are backed up a bit and it would take a while, great communication at least. So basically, with Lawrence's lovely service, I would suggest trying this place, maybe during the day or something as it seems their waitrons are not capable of dealing with busy times.
Slow service. Pizza was incredibly bland and doughy. Asked for side plates to eat our pizza and was given saucers big enough to hold a teacup. Saw another customer handing 2 pizza's back to the 'chef' probably because it was undercooked. Won't be visiting this place anytime soon. Oh and the so called cappuccino was horrible as well. Definitely needs new management.
The service was extremely slow even though there was only one other group at the restaurant. It took the waiter 40 minutes to bring us water and our other drinks arrived with our food after more than an hour. The waiter mixed up some of our orders and also brought us items that we did not order. The décor was cheap looking and did not go with the expensive prices on their menu. The food, however, was above average. Service - 1/10 Environment - 3/10 Food - 6/10
Worst service. Unfriendly staff. Unpleasant smell inside. No service. Would not recommend this place to anyone whatsoever
Was told to make a booking here while staying at hotel. It was VERY cold in the restaurant when I went in to make the booking. They said they would seat us inside specifically with a heater. Arrived and no one seem to know what was going on, but the heater was out of gas. However, non-patrons just sitting on their phones had a heater our entire visit...but not eating. Service was friendly but very slow. Server couldn’t answer simple questions. Fillet was super tiny and thin and over cooked. Fish was spongy and soggy. Will never return and can’t believe this place is inside a casino like it’s high end. I agree with guy above, everything doesn’t just look cheap...it is. Gets better, or shall I say, worse. Took forever to pay, and when we did with a card, she didn’t include the tip BC she said she didn’t get it...whoever has the “fingerprint” gets it at the end of the month...not the servers! Huh?? We are Americans visiting here and have never experienced this. What if we didn’t have cash to give her a tip? Get it together owner.
We waited 40 minutes for our drinks and only got it after complaining. Then the rest of the time we had to go and call the waitress. When I finally got the second drink there were red lipstick on the glass NOT MINE. Exremely poor service. I just read all the other negative comments. When is sombody going to realise there is a problem?
I had a great time and a great meal, with my family celebrating my birthday,I had ribs, son had kids burger and husby had prawns. Enjoyed the setting and the open cooling air. The weitress was attentive and present and very friendly. I didn't think she could speak Sotho was shocked but also laughed when other people used English when talking to her
