The funeral arrangements for my mom is not easy, but the calmness and cleanliness of the cottage help me feel relaxed and to gather myself. The delicious breakfast, was much appreciated and the electric blankets just add even more to the luxury experience. We slept over the 14th May on a 4x4 roadtrip. Very beautiful place with stunning history and friendly service. For consideration as a 6ft person it is very uncomfortable to bath in a small antique bath. We also go to these remote dorpies for quietness. Owners to consider moving aircon compressor as adjacent occupants used aircon all night which kept us awake due to on/off thermostat switching all night. Will probably revisit if I can shower. Wow!! Excellent hospitality & service experienced!! Very neat and comfortable rooms which makes one feel at home!! Their breakfast, prepared with a special twist which I've never experienced elsewhere before, is to die for......Highly recommended!!!

Self catering taken to another level of luxury. No falling around for anything, with daily cleaning. Dstv to keep kids occupied between our errands and visiting my mom. Coming back to a warm Shower and bed with electric blankets for just gives me that homely feeling. Hospitality at its best. Thank you. No question where we’ll stay on our next visit to my mom

Hospitable owners very helpful. Lovely main house. We stayed in room 2 outside. Room a bit small. Sumptuous breakfast highly recommended. Pool suitable for a cool off dip. Safe parking. Just around the corner from a good restaurant. Wi-fi a bit weak in the outside rooms.Rooms: 3/5

Very neat and comfortable stay. The owners went out of their way to accommodate us! The chalets are very well kitted out with Dstv, wifi and heated blankets for the winter. All in all l, a pleasant stay atba very affordable priceRooms: 4/5

Wonderful hosts, Amazing Breakfast and a comfortable stay. Loved the warm electric blankets in the cold nights. Excellent wi-fi connection. A must stay for your overnight en route to Kgalagadi from Cape Town and returning home with easy access from the highway.

We had a great one night stay. Beds are good, rooms are warm did not stay in the manor house, breakfast is fantastic! Due to COVID only two restaurants in town, but the hotel served lamb to die for.
