The accommodation is clean and very comfortable.Engela is a wonderful caring host and makes the most delicious wholesome food! It was so lovely to be driving the whole day and come to wonderful cooked meal tgat we enjoyed under the apricot tree.

Tannie Engela is an incredible host that makes your stay extra special. The food was amazing and the pampoen koekies take you back to when you were a child. Beds are very comfortable, great water pressure, laundry facilities are quick and affordable and the garden is lovely for a cup of coffee in The morning
This guesthouse is amazing! The farm fresh, home cooked meals, shared at the dining room table with our friends were absolutely delicious! Our room was very comfortable and included a fridge and microwave oven for our convenience. The guesthouse is located in a truly wonderful part of the Karoo! Our hostess, Engela, was very knowledgable about the area.
We stayed at Die Tuishuis for a few days while doing some ebiking on the lovely deserted Karoo roads. Such a wonderful stay. Engela is a superb cook and welcoming hostess, and we dined well on the most delicious "plaas kos" meals each evening. Breakfasts were substantial and the rooms spacious and comfortable. Would we go back? Oh yes!
We visited "Tuishuis" in February, before the lockdown. What a beautiful jewel in a harsh environment! The owner treated us with a slow oven roasted dinner - poeding included. If you visit, take time to notice the art collection and tiny details that make this place so special.Rooms: 5/5
We stayed at Tuishuis for 2 nights. Comfortable rooms with everything that we needed. Our friendly hostess, Engela, cooked wonderful meals for us. The bobotie was amazing! Thank you for a wonderful time and we’ll certainly be back.Rooms: 5/5
Visited this delightful guest house for a late morning breakfast. The breakfast is delicious, from the bacon and sausage to the eggs, baby potatoes and mushrooms. Engela provides warm, gracious hospitality as the house's fireplace warms up even the coldest traveler's heart. The Moerkoffie, salad, toast and more will satisfy even the harshest critic.
Amazing lady/owner running the place, she makes amazing food and creates a lovely presence. House & Rooms has a superb farm feel to it and is kept at a very high standard, very clean neat and tidy! a Must see
