I enjoyed my stay here very much. The hostess is very friendly, helpful and welcoming and the room has an abundance of amenities to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. An indoor braai/fireplace, a big bath, heated/electrical blankets, coffee/tea, complimentary rusks, biscuits and sherry, etc. all add to the comfort and homeliness. Be sure to visit Jurg at Sterland Stargazing down for a wonderful, informative stargazing experience.

Great place to stay. Central in town, not that is matters town is very small. Rooms are very neat & tidy. Hostess Anelia is one of the friendliest ever. Breakfast is 10/10, can even order a skilpadjie and lamb tjop for breakfast. Overall 10/10 stay.Rooms: 5/5

Lovely old house with various room and suite options, ask about the roon size to check if its suitable. If in doubt, go for a suite, they beautiful and spacious. Breakfast like a king before you head out to explore the remote unspoilt surroundings.

Possibly the best host we have ever stayed with. Anelia is such an incredible person. We got treated like family and royalty at the same time. Well priced accomodation which includes breakfast for a king. Rooms are beautifully decorated and huge. Linen and beds are high quality and rooms have everything you need for a cold Sutherland night. Honestly an amazing town and an amazing host. We will be back

Well this is a real gem.Arrived at 8 am after walking running all night.The hostess Anelise welcomed me and even let me check in early.They made me feel like a king,thanks. The room was perfect Libra. Breakfast was great in fact excellent. They helped with take away meals also great. If all hostess could be like this then travel would be so easy.Thanks Dave
