Had some lunch with friends, good location, their specials on T-bone steak are good if you can catch it.. Service is ok for rural. Will go againService: 3/5

we went for wednesdays special 28/12/2022 which is 250 p/p for 45min includes t-bone,pap and sheba Owner did not indicate that the special only starts at 6pm , he said 3pm did we not wait from 2h30pm to 6pm ,,,, finally when we had to start our cruise boat did not want to start and they battled with it for a good 45-1hr while we are inside it ,,, we only cruised at night and there were no animals to see then , such a disappointment on top of all the delays , when we finally came back to disembark and go get our food ,it was as if they did not even start preparing our food, they were litterally putting T-Bone on the braai stand while we waiting to eat ... please kindly improve your service considering this is the only nice thing to do in Phalaborwa

Did a afternoon boat ride.wad very nice with a very nice cool breeze given the fact that it's very hot in Phalaborwa.u can buy drinks at the bar n bring them in board n we came back when it wad a bit dark and had this beautiful view of the lodge with lots of lights from the restaurantRooms: 3/5

All the staff are friendly and always helpfull With their newly build rooms it are a blast visiting this piece of eden On arival I caught a view of a nyala then just as I came around the bend there were a young elephant bull standing in the reeds having a nice lunch The boat cruise were highly suprising as well and the ease of geting on the Kombaku boat were just as easy with a platform that are level too the bank even some one with a wheel chair should have no problem getting on the staff are friendly and would help you any time if you should ask Once the cruise started you are met with beautifull scenery and the wild life is in abundance Uou can expect but are not limmited to see The big five if you are lucky in one go. You can also see hippos and crocodiles The food are top noch and you have a choice of beverages from juice to hard liquor They do accomodate for swimming and having functions as well The pool area makes for a great year end function and your children have a small swimming pool as well. All over I would rate my experience a 8 out of ten The only deterent thats a bit of is the road surface between the mine and the next tar road If it did rain really hard and the place is muddy a normal motor car or small pick up will have difficulty passing trough the mines But if you do get stuck kombaku has the equipment and staff to help you out of that sticky situation as well

A nice barge that has space for plenty people. A cruise takes about 2 and a half hours and you get to see some game on the banks of the river. Nice relaxing atmosphere. The hotels restaurant has a menu that has a multitude of options for food. We had toasted sandwiches, which were great too. The tables and chairs are spectacular, if you are a lover of real wood furniture like me!!! They are busy with some building works in expanding with some more rooms. Great place and friendly staff.

QUITE DISSAPOINTED IN THE FOOD!ORDERED GRILLED PERI PERI CHICKEN BREAST STATING ON THE MENU "GRILLED IN" PERI PERI.GOT BBQ BREAST.NOT EVEN STATED ON THE MENU. BROUGHT ME CHOPPED CHILLI ON THE SIDE.I SEND IT BACK,JUST FOR THE CHEF TO POUR THE CHOPPED CHILLI ON THE GRILLED BREAST.ALSO NOT NEWLY PREPARED.JUST THE SAME BREAST AND ICE COLD.THE CHIPS WAS COLD AND UNPLEASANT.FOR A RESTAURANT WITH A 5 STAR AMBIANCE AND VIEW THE FOOD IS QUITE POOR.

We booked for Xmas lunch but de service was poor to us
