What an amazing time we had!!! The garden is just breathtaking, the views amazing. Everything was clean and on point. My kids just loved it!!! Beautifully situated against the Mountain. Full of Lush Green plants, flowers, trees & birds. Tranquil, the scenery & Sunsets are Magnificent. Self catering, all modern amenities. Use of Pool. Highly Recommend for a weekend, get away, Daily, Weekly or monthly Business Trip or Family getaway. The Tranquility Brings Peace to the Soul.
This is undoubtedly one of my favorite places I have stayed in during my time in South Africa. Despite the cold weather, we were warmly welcomed by /with great service and stylish comfort. Prime and centrally located, it was easy to get around and was close to amenities. Compliments to the management, who were incredibly helpful , generous and did their best to accommodate us. . Most importantly as we were mindful that we are travelling during the pandemic, I was impressed by the fact that the Covid rules and regulations were enforced and adhered to as per governmental prescription. This is a world-class accommodation and my family and I had a great experience and I would gladly recommend Map's View Guesthouse.
We booked there past weekend from Friday to Sunday...there was no room service and also their Jacuzzi was not working the whole weekend..we asked the owner on Friday when we arrived and he just said "its technical issues" he was not bothered to fix it. Jacuzzi was part of our activity so we didn't enjoy our stayRooms: 1/5
I had a wonderful short vacation with the family and my kids enjoyed the time away and I'm impressed at how kid-friendly the place is. Mr. and Mrs Mapukata the owners were extremely friendly. on the day of arrival I got welcomed with a bouquet of roses and some gifts since the next day was my birthday. The views are extraordinarily breathtaking and the apartment is clean and up to standard. There are alot of areas to explore at the guest house and they all had a wow-effect. I'd recommend it if you love tranquility and peace.
The place is so awesome, I really had a good stay over two night and three days... Mrs Mapukata welcomed us with a super good and amazing warmth that made us feel at home. The place is spotless you can smell the cleanliness, you have your own space apart from anyone else and my children enjoyed playing on the swings and swimming... It was everything I needed.
Charlene was a great host. She had exceeded my expectations in planning and executing my spouses dinner date. I highly recommend her.Rooms: 5/5
RE: Kgoadu's response I don't understand when you respond by saying a briefing was done as I don't recall this conversation. You ignored my text when I asked if the jacuzzi was fixed by the technicians and only my request for tissue paper was attended to. Of which when I arrived on Friday afternoon I was told that the jacuzzi was switched off because there was a storm the previous night. Was really disappointed by the service.
An absolutely awesome place to stay. The venue is just perfect with breathtaking views. The lodge is equipped with everything you require and is situated in an upmarket and safe area. The yard has ample space for braais, kid's play area and the beautiful plants. The host Latani is absolutley accomodating, pleasant and understanding. He is always available at your request and does his best just to make your stay that much better. I would definitely return to Maps View when I am in JHB.
What an amazing day we had... Charlene the owner treated us like queens and kings... it was a celebration/ baby shower of my niece who decided to arrive a day before the baby shower.... OMG Charlene the owner such a professional Effecient lady... her place, food amazing . 10 kudos to her... definitely will be going there again and this time will be checking in to her guest house...
