A well maintained and well run hospital. Has a small pharmacy and pleasant coffee shop with a good menu. Variety of Doctors rooms on site. The Medical ward is well run and staff are friendly and helpful, and very caring. The cleaner Lorrain was an absolute treat as she came to clean my room daily. Always positive, smiling, and happy to help with little things. The porters were also very caring and helpful and seemed to go the extra mile to ensure your well-being. Easily accessible from N14, close to Cradelstone mall. Ample parking, secure too.They also have a little buggy that collects visitors from their vehicles in the parking area. What a lovely touch. All guest parking seems outdoors though, not ideal when it's raining.
This is the worsed hospital! Filthy!!! Shower brackets that are loose and falling out of the wall. Toilet seats looks like they are 50 years old. Bathrooms are not clean and sometimes there is no soap to wash your hands. The wards are understaffed as it was said to me by the nursing manager Angie. You call the nurse for assistance and they come after pressing the bell 4 times. The night staff had no clue what meds my husband was on and they were also not aware of his condition.
I can't find the words to thank Dr. Variava enough for the service and care you gave to my grandmother. In our and her hardest aments you provided a light amongst the dark. You were there for her until the end. I found it comforting to know that she was in such good hands and thank you for the daily voice note’s. To the ICU sister’s thank you. You are truly sent from above.
Both my daughters were born there, excellent service received. Can't complain. My father was also admitted there, received best medical care possible Thank you Dr Variava. From Dr Daniel Ngwenya and family.
Never visiting this hospital again. Went to to ER because my airway was closing. I was made to wait for so long to the point where by the time I got attended to I was gasping for air. The nurse had the audacity to tell me me that I’m not a priority patient when genero I suffer from severe anaphylaxis that has threatened to take my life on numerous occasions. Terrible!
Worst ER experience ever. Extremely slow, rude, cocky, no compassion or empathy with children, let alone parents. Worst bed side manners ever. We took our child and left after the doctor’s consultation. Don’t waste your time.
Took my son to the emergency. With a sky high fever. When I got there I was told to wait. After insisting they take my childs temperature it was 39.6, was then told to sit and wait our turn and to remove his clothing in the waiting room... In public??? They didnt even offer to bring something to bring the fever down. Are children no longer a priority??? Took me an hour find other care for him where in that time he could have had a fever fit. Just to add there was another terribly sick child waiting to be seen too. Please never take your sick children to this disgraceful place!!
Had the best experience at Pinehaven. Had a 3day stay after a procedure.Staff, nurses and Dr was very friendly. Especially the nurses in the day and surgical ward, i can really say they are very professional, and there when you need them, had clean bedding everyday, excellent service and very clean environment.The Pharmacy however is terrible.
The sisters were very friendly and caring. Even if you are a day visitor, and you going for an op , your last meal was the night before, you should be asked especially if you going to be there almost the whole day what would you like to have for lunch. I had to ask when I cam after my op for something to eat. I was told that I need to take some medication to rest for the pain.i waitedand the medication didn't come.i also had to ask for some water to drink, cause they was no water available. When I got discharge I was told to wait for a wheelchair, I waited for over 10min and didn't arrive so i walk o ly to find that the wheelchair came ., For ne that not a good experience I had , I normally go to Krugersdrop Netcare, but because I couldn't get a doctor available I came to this hospital , cause everyone said it's the best hospital. Not to me
I travel 50 Kms to Pinehaven because they are the benchmark to medicine with results. Particularly with the leadership of the good Drs Variava. They keep you in the loop all the time. An incredible husband and wife team, patient well-being is their focus. They write the gold standard for patient care and differential diagnosis. Exceptional staff, customer service and brilliant medical minds will be found at Pinehaven. Physio Oshin is also in a league of his own.
