The service was excellent!. All staff members were very friendly and helpful. Thank you to all the nursing staff that took care of me.
Officially probably the worst Medi-Clinic in South Africa. E.R Doctors "aren't doctors" can't respond to emergencies, no respect, no explanations, your just a cattle here with money. They are ONLY excellent in billing. It's shocking that this hospital can exist, showing the lack of Government Policy/Enforcement. NOT RECOMMENDED - go to proper Hospital, here you'll die, without them even being aware your in the room.
My daughter was admitted on 28 December 2022 at about 8am and was attended by Dr Viljoen. She then went to theater for endoscopy and was out around 11h30. She last saw the doctor before going for endoscopy and the rest of the day he didn't come to explain results etc. On 29 December 09h30 he still didn't show up as a result she's not given treatment besides pain killers Thanks to Dr Ayo who explained everything. Prompt response thumbs up
There was a lack of triage at A and E such that I had to arrive 2h 30mim and my child was in excruciating pain, dehydrated and neglected. Further more the sister Jabu chased us out of A and E saying there were handover and will inform me when the child is transferred to A ward. 2 hours passed and A ward came to the A and E looking for the parents of a unaccompanied minor child in their ward. That's whe I met sister Julie to file a complaint. What if my child was stolen or even worse. The attitude and condescending attitude of sister Jabu is regretful. The formal complaint is under review by the hospital sister Julie.
Dr Viljoen, the general surgeon, was amazing and everything went smoothly. The sisters/nurses in A-Ward were so sweet and never hesitant to help with anything. Best hospital I've been to and I've been to quite a few.
Worst PRIVATE hospital experience. People waiting like it's a public hospital. No care for patients who are I'll, even in casualty, triage indicated wait time is 1 hour. Waited 30 minutes for triage, 2.45 minutes to get a bed/cubicle and a further 45 minutes for the Dr to attend to us. No emergencies noted in this time, a little girl came in an ambulance and is still waiting as long for treatment. Dr's comments when I said we want treatment and to leave: where are you in a hurry to go to. This is normal wait time in a casualty. To which I said no and he said yes well its pay weekend so there's that too" haven't seen any drunk or disorderly people here either so not sure what pay weekend has to do with it. Mind you, we were triage orange/yellow which wait time is 60 minutes. I save yourself a bill and die at home instead of coming to this hole
Very bad service from a private hospital. From 4pm everyday nobody answers the telephone in a 24 hour medical facility DISGUSTING!!!
Not all that glitters are gold. I started at public hospital then moved to private hospital. Half-treatment is what you going to receive.
Their staff is friendly and well mannered also the standard is high and they treat their patient with respect an everyone came across their property
Worse hospital ever. Doctors are not impatient with with the sick or even when you making an enquiry about your loved ones. No care is given to the sick. If we didn't make a decision to discharge my mother it could have been worse...
