Good quality. Restaurant is exceptional. Great food. Love the flatbreads. Nice setting. Indoors can be a little stuffy but outside tables are lovely. Service is slow but that is understandable in a low volume place. Campsites are very good. Ablutions are stuffy with poor ventilation but good otherwise.
My husband and I drove by for lunch today after a sign next to the road claimed they were open for the day at the restaurant and there were no steak, pork, rib eye, veggies, Sprite, Fanta or even change for when we wanted to pay cash for our only option drinks. Other guests around us also left because almost nothing on the menu was available. For such a beautiful place with so much potential, we are quite disappointed and will not likely refer someone or return for a second visit. Bad service.
We had a very nice lunch al fresco, the menu was inspiring and the food was actually very nice. The service was also very good. The wine list could be improved and also the outdoor seating area. Overall a nice experience.
Food was really good, and excellent value. Took away 1 star since the smoked chicken could have done with a little more smoking. A challenge they were aware of, and it imagine has already been addressed. Next time wouldn't mind staying over.
The food was wonderful and the staff extremely efficient and friendly. Beautiful sights to see around. The tented camp is amazing and very well equipped and laid out. Was an absolute pleasure to go there and we will definitely be back.
What a gem of a place to relax. Fantastic and friendly hosts and staff that are out of this world. The tent camp is luxurious and makes me want to come every weekend. If you are looking for a break away .. this is the place. The food in the restaurant is worth 5 stars ... Definitely recommend!
Very friendly people and the food was divine. The children also had a lot to do while we were waiting for our food and after they have eaten. Can't complain about anything. Also close enough from where i stay in Pretoria-east to go for n game viewing drive in the Dinokeng Game Reserve and have lunch at this beautiful place.
This is a cosy lodge with only a few luxury Tent houses and a couple of Tent/Caravan stands. Excellent for a peaceful retreat in style or with the tent. The lodge is Kid friendly also and the food in the Restaurant is divine. The owner and staff is always ready to help with any requests.
This place is glamping done well! I really enjoyed staying in a tent but not really feeling like a tent. The tent is equipped with a shower, bath, toilet and running water. You sleep in a Queen size comfortable bed and the room is just gorgeous. The only improvement I am recommending is, upgrade in the ammenties. This is a 4star establishment and can't serve ricoffee in the rooms or 1ply toilet paper. The service is excellent the staff is very attentive and willing to go the extra mile. We also enjoyed our breakfast, particularly the Eggs Benedict, best eggs benedict I've ever tasted. I will be returning to this place again!
Highly recommend. First “Glamping” experience for us. Well worth it. Spacious tent and very comfortable bed. Only criticism if I have to REALLY nitpick would be to say that the Safari tents could be a little further apart from each other with maybe more natural vegetation between them just to give one more privacy and a secluded feel. Apart from that, great getaway, good food and many local eateries and watering holes if you spend a few days. Also has Caravan and Tent stands for the true camping experience.
