What a lovely experience, fully equipped, warm bed, clean and very quite. Definitely will be visiting again.Rooms: 5/5
nice location. clean and comfortable. very cute and friendly dog who loves you throw his ball or stick or plastic container. accommodation was clean and spacious room.
Pros: Spacious, comfortable and quaint. Had everything we needed. A few things could have been cleaner. The staff member that opened and gave us keys was lovely. Old vintage type house which I love. Best part about it was the cat, liefie Cons: It didn't feel safe, there are few safety measures in place, lack of security gates and so on. There were people fighting on the side of the road from about 10pm every evening, highly intoxicated too. Inconvenient location due to excessive road noise. Images do not reflect the actual accomodation. Side note: Slightly disappointed with whomever handles payments - which I now believe is the owner. 3 months down the line we get bombarded with messages stating we had not yet paid in full. The way it was handled was poor and left a bitter taste in our mouths. I feel it could have been handled better as payments should have been checked way before we left or in the same month at least. We will therefore not be going back to this accommodation. We would have gladly paid if we had any idea that we had not paid in full. The matter was sorted out and paid for within an hour of being contacted as we have no issue in paying. IT WAS THE MANNER IN WHICH WE WERE APPROACHED TO PAY. Terrible service etiquette
Spacious, everything you need or think of is in the kitchen area, huge fridge/freezer, very clean unit & bonus that your dishes is taken care off. Indoor fire place as well as indoor braai if it is to cold to use outdoor boma. Good quality linen & electric blankets a must for winter. Conveniently situated; just across from OK & a very short walk to planetarium for stargazing.
A very warm welcome by Antonette and a eclectic furnished unit. Very neat. We enjoyed our stay very much. We went to the Blue Moon and has pizzas. Excellent food and wonderful hostRooms: 5/5
“NOT a debate” was her words when she cancelled our booking. They cancelled our booking a week before our visit after we booked 3 months in advance. She did no effort to find us new accommodation nor showed any consideration towards leaving us stranded. We booked for the long weekend in Sutherland 3 months in advanced as we know there is no accommodation during this time. I feel this is absolutely horrendous, and what makes it worse is her shy excuse of “there is no water”. Do not book here !
They have real toilet paper, thick towels, WiFi and many 2 point plugs. Warm and clean beds. House is nicely decorated.
The guesthouse is well appointed. Seems like the place is still being constructed so we had grinding noise until 7pm. I'm sure its usually more peaceful though.
Facilities great and well servised however, excessive road noise, general noise from passer bys, busy shopping centre close by, and continuous loud music 3pm till very late at night-not a peaceful experience.Rooms: 4/5
Nice room and kitchen. Too close to noisy main road where cars race and taxi's place loud music over weekend.Rooms: 4/5
