Beautiful restaurant and ambience. The service was spot on and the food really hit the spot! Really enjoyed our date night here.

I went there for my birthday lunch. Beautiful, sophisticated deco & ambience. You can host private small private functions as well in closed space. The food was well presented and well prepared. Attentive management and waiters. I received a complementary birthday dessert ...I'm impressed and will be going back.

Ambiance is good, one of the more expensive restaurants around. Had the calarami which was under seasoned the sauce it came with was a redeeiming factor else there would be no flavor, the tomatoe salad was R115 but was literally just tomatoes cut up and tossed in basil with a few mozzarella balls, but really not the special and not worth the price as there was also a bit chunk of tomatoe with the center not cut out, there was 3 small pieces of fried tomatoe skin which didn't make any difference to it tasting like a tomatoe skin. The Tomahawk steak which was R440 was very chewy, comes to the table already cut but wasn't worth the price. Service I would say was ok, servers weren't the friendliness. Overall a very average experience at a very expensive price.

Had a great experience, wonderful stuff, lovely atmosphere enjoyed my meal... Lovely and welcoming waiter he really made my graduation dinner special to be back soon.

Hadn't been back here in more than 5 years and it didn't disappoint. I had the whole line fish and my wife had the lobster which we both enjoyed. My daughter had the brisket and my son had a burger. Our waitress was attentive and helpful in making food and drinks choices. Highly recommended .

A very very average experience for my first time at Pigalle. Expected so much more after hearing that this was a fine dining experience. Was celebrating a 83rd birthday so hoped it would be special. The lady that took our drink order was very rushed and abrupt. Seemingly frustrated that we asked if they had any fresh juices. Fortunately our waitress was pleasant. Sadly no one including the manager even bothered to check if we were ok and satisfied with our meal during our entire visit. Starters of tempura prawns was very disappointing. Can't really call it tempura when it doesn't have a batter on it. Probably at best lightly dusted in flour and 4 the size of shrimps size of a snail...can't get any smaller than that. Had the salmon teriyaki for mains and this was at least cooked well upon request. Sides of veggies was basically just steamed veg. No wow on this plate of food. Quality of food probably similar to a mainstream restaurant chain.

I expected that I would have been satisfied with the plate I ordered, 300g lamb which came with just less than a handful of chips . The plate only had about 6 pieces of meat . It looked like a empty plate ,it looked like the starter plate and it was overpriced

We went there to celebrate my little sisters birthday and I had the worst food of my life. My husband and I could not even stomach it. The 1 star is for the Prawns My sister ordered. Those were good.
