Background:
I have spent more than a decade in the world of the academia, specializing in how childhood trauma/maltreatment and psychological disease manifest, in the brain and the endocrinology-and-immune systems, in early adulthood. While valuing the benefits of scientific endeavor, I have always felt that something was missing in the linear approach of empirical investigation that largely ignores the more subtle energetic expressions of life. This, in combination with years of unsuccessful psychotherapy in response to my wounded relationship with myself and the masculine, have led me to extend my research to the East, pursuing a passion for the ancient wisdom traditions of yoga, Vedic philosophy, Taoist tantra, and Buddhist mindfulness practices. Within the scope of Jungian depth psychology, I have also extensively explored how the feminine unconscious mind works and influences the choices women make. Taken together, I have found profound healing, on a holistic level, by drawing on all of the above lineages.
Qualifications:
I have obtained a PhD in Psychiatry, and have combined my knowledge of chronobiology -how every system in the body has its own rhythm- with preserved wisdom predating the Patriarchal system (i.e., more than 5000 years ago), in coaching on hormone balancing. In addition to a thorough investigation of the roles of mythology, symbolism and specific goddess archetypes in the female psyche, I have completed a yoga teacher training course in Jivamukti yoga, based on strong Vedic discourse, and have also trained in Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), which is a mindfulness-and-values-based behaviour therapy.
Main objective:
I am devoted to healing the womb space, both on individual and collective levels, by fusing various healing modalities. The purpose is to facilitate union between the divine feminine (Shakti) and masculine (Shiva) principles - to be both active and receptive, autonomous and intimate, to work and to love fiercely. I invite women on a quest for individuation and embodiment of the Goddess, moving away from victim hood. This is the heroin’s path of finding, losing and rediscovering what gives meaning to her, and holding on to these values in all kinds of circumstances that test her.
Why is this work important?
In today’s Patriarchal society, many women have experienced some form of childhood physical or emotional neglect and/or physical, psychological or sexual abuse, where they then repeat enacting those patterns of maltreatment by attracting romantic relationships that mirror those dynamics. Also, in ancient cultures, BEING rather than DOING/performing was encouraged, the phases of the menstrual cycles and female sexuality were honored in relation to nature, and women were celebrated as goddesses. In contrast, modern programming includes dominance over women (as reflected in the pornography industry) and Mother Nature, and lifestyles that are governed by goal-directed, incessant activity, artificial light, hormone disruptive cosmetics, cleaning agents, water and diet. Consequently, we are in a time of much needed healing, finding balance, and living in accordance with the principles of nature.
Who would benefit? All women who,
a) are challenged in terms of maltreatment (past or present), love/sex addiction, low self-worth,
b) are insecurely attached to their romantic partners, seeking constant other-validation,
c) suffer from hormone imbalances and gynecological issues (poly cystic ovarian syndrome, fibroids, endometriosis, difficult periods, thyroid and adrenal issues, premature aging, infertility and low libido)
d) are willing and committed to change limiting unconscious beliefs, and embody the Divine Feminine.

Session information for Package one:
Eight, one-on-one, 90 minute sessions at R400 per session, (a sliding scale can be arranged):
Session one:
Completing of an intake form that includes outcome measures based on congruence with values (work, relationships, leisure, personal growth/health, and spirituality). Introducing the 7 Greek goddess archetypes and completing a questionnaire which assesses dominance of a particular archetype (s).
Session two - womb and yoni care:
Education on how to take good care of and release trauma from the yoni and womb, and use these center for pleasure, expression of the goddess, and creativity. Introducing Taoist tantra, including yoni egg regime, as well as other sacred self-care practices such as yoni steams.
Session three - hormone balancing:
Education on how to use the four phases of your menstrual cycle (in relation to the lunar cycle) to your advantage in terms of, a) herbs, diet and lifestyle, and b) energetics, for example, shadow work, intuition, nourishment, receptivity, magnetism, creativity and manifesting.
Sessions four to eight: The “Inner and Outer Alchemy Method TM”:
Introducing 7 Greek Goddess archetypes and establishing to what extent each is operating in your life. By doing this work, in mythological terms, it is a journey of decent into the underworld (unconscious mind), with the purpose of integrating the unconscious with the conscious. With respect to both light and dark aspects of these goddess archetypes, I teach a 5-step method I have created whereby one’s unconscious limiting beliefs/stories/schemas are systematically rewritten to create one’s reality from a space of love, in line with your values and life purpose.
