Great place. We had so much fun. I just wish there could be a heated pool for the young ones. The water does get to be a bit cold at times. Other than that we had fun. The life guards by the slides where so helpful. Also it should be noted that visiting during weekdays is best as it gets crowded over the weekend.
I found the location to be quite delightful and rejuvenating. My family and I were able to experience all of the available rides and particularly enjoyed the lazy river. It's worth noting that when renting a locker, only cash is accepted. The Family locker is priced at R350 including a R100 refundable deposit and the standard locker is R250 also with refundable deposit. We left most of our belongings in the beach area and were pleased to find them untouched upon our departure. I would like to extend my appreciation to the lifeguards on duty for their diligence and commitment to ensuring the safety of all guests.
The Valley of the waves has always been a have-to-do at Sun City. Love the excitement. The swimming pool at the Reception Area is always nice and loved having a quick lunch there. Enjoyable
Breathtaking beauty! Lockers are available for valuables For a fee. Changing facilities available, which are extremely well maintained, consistently being cleaned. Towels are available for hire.Many stalls with refreshments available inside the valley. Plenty of space for seating. Great vibe with music and a chilled atmosphere. Would be great to have the valley opened perhaps on Friday or Saturday nights, it closes everyday at around 6pm.Definitely one of the top tourist destinations in SA. There are slides for adults and teens, as well as an adventure mountain for the tots and a lazy river which they can enjoy. Halaal establishment at the Valley.
Fun day out for the family! Missed the SkyTrain, busses out at the end of the day was a bit hectic but that didn’t spoil the amazing day the kids had! It is on the expensive side, but great value for money.
R450 entrance fee is steep and food is expensive. No food or drinks may be taken in. It’s a most enjoyable day though! Sand is quite rough but the wave is good fun and the water slides are excellent - from gentle to blow your hair back!!

This place makes you feel like you just landed on a secluded island along the pacific. The waves are crazy and so much fun. It's a wonderful way to make yourself feel like a kid again.... When that first wave hits you, your addicted.
