1910 Grille'

We were floored by the high prices for dinner so we immediately excused ourselves and left. This is a small town of 30,000 in Iowa and prices like this are unheard of and, frankly, insulting. With one beer or wine, dinner can be 35 to 55 dollars per person. There were other restaurants nearby that were quite busy, but this place had only three occupied tables on a beautiful Friday night. (Tapas place next door...fabulous!) On the other hand, we did find the breakfast menu very reasonable with prices slightly higher than a typical Perkins but quite fair for the excellent food and service. The omelettes, pancakes, French toast and other items were well done and the portions were perfect. Coffee was good and served with real cream in china cups. The service from Kim was friendly, yet efficient and professional. We will definitely return here for breakfast, five stars, but dinner is best enjoyed by those in much higher income brackets.

I've been coming here since I moved here from Chicago in January 2018. Everything about this place is excellent. I do eat here regularly. Breakfasts are amazing, the Bloody Mary is perfectly spicy and I pair that with the Tuscan omelet. I've had several dinner dishes, never a bad one. Try them all! Service is excellent and management is phenomenal!

So happy to have found this spot. Was staying in Mason City and looking for a good dinner. The Frank Lloyd Wright architecture piqued my interest. It was later in the night so there was little activity but the service was top notch. If you like Pino, you can't go wrong with one from Oregon. It was highly recommended and for a reason. I was torn between the special and the salmon, very happy I went with the salmon. It was well prepared and the rice it was served with was so flavorful and rich. This is a great spot and I'd highly recommend it.

Ate here for breakfast and I was very impressed with the coffee and the skillets, especially the house potatoes. Our server was amazing, she was so attentive and friendly and my coffee cup was never empty!
