A&W

If you remember the good old days of steel automobiles and ice cold root beer floats at the local drive-in restaurants, you will LOVE this A&W in Stayton! Every time my wife and I go, it reminds us of a simpler life of good food at an affordable price, where guys 'n gals went on Friday evening to see the gang and eat good food while listening to great music. Combo meals are available as well as just a burger or hot dog. Diet root beer is on the menu for us diabetics or those conscious of their health. Go and take a trip back through time- you won't regret it!

Please note that this is a "Fast Food Chain 4 Star" as opposed to a "Single Location Steak House 4 Star". When you are in a national chain fast food burger joint you want 3 things, consistent, fast, fair. A&W has all three in in really tasty burger, so I say, four stars. Plus, they serve delicious A&W rootbeer. So, win!

Very good burgers. My daughter said it was her favorite, but that could have just been because she got done with a dance competition and was starving... the fries had a nice balance of crunch and fluffy insides and the fries came unsalted so that you can put however much on you would like. A little pricier than McDonald's or Burger King but well worth the extra splurge!

It's a little spendy side for fast food, but the food is better than typical fast food restaurants. The atmosphere is always nice, it tends to be on the quiet side, and I typically go on weekends. My dad and I love going here.

Pulled up through drive threw. Went to order and was asked to "can you please hold for a brief moment while I take another order"? We said that was fine as we were still looking. About 15 minutes go by and no one came back. We honked, said hello through the Mic and still nothing! My wife had to call and tell them we were still out there. Finally they took our order. We pulled up to pat, and said something again, and the didtsy bimbo blonde acted stupid, and said "well out sensor must not have went off" please we were being helped and placed on hold. I will never go here again.
