Moxieberry began as a college project creating a mock business in May of 2007. It was from this project our inspiration became a purpose and our purpose became a dream. Through our search to find the ultimate word to describe the heart of our purpose we stumbled upon Moxie: defined as the ability to face adversity with spirit and courage. Viola! We vowed to dedicate our business practices to inspire women everywhere as we could all benefit from a little “moxie”. We found a profound need to find ways to promote spirit, courage, healing and purpose and chose the moxieberry to symbolize this very belief. Also known as the snowberry, the moxieberry is known for its healing and energizing properties. We decided to being our journey through flowers as they have a positive effect on emotions and both positive cognitive and social responses. In other words, flowers make people happy and promote healing. And so we begin our life long journey to spread Moxie to women every where.
