Ixtapa Mexican Restaurant

The wait staff was nice except for one gal that seemed a little bit solemn. For a small town in Oregon it was a decent Mexican restaurant. The food does need some adjusting. I don't know if they keep the food tame and to cater to the local community but it definitely needs more seasoning and more spices. I did get the shredded beef option and my deal but it needed quite a bit more salt. I would recommend today try and offer spicier auctions. It's sort of like you can do it Asian restaurants. Very mild food. A little bit too much for my taste. One thing I was very surprised that was the amazing poor quality of my Fork. My dining partner had a cylinder reasonable Fork but mine was very small and apparently pressed out of aluminum foil. It was surprisingly difficult to eat dinner with. It may seem like a silly thing to say but what the hell. Especially in juxtaposition to the decor. The table I sat at was very nice wood and the bathroom was redone with very high quality stuff. I'm glad they had the extra funds to do the bathroom, can you please spend $200 and replace your flatware?

Great food & service. Reasonably priced. Clean. Big menu selection. Yummy fresh salsa & chips delivered to your table with your meal.

I took my prom committee to ixtapa for lunch today. The food was awesome, as usual and the service is always great. The kids loved it and so did I! Thank you ixtapa

This is our go-to for Mexican food. Always good service, friendly atmosphere and great food .
