Alamo Rent A Car

We requested a large car to hold six people with lots of luggage. We were not disappointed. We got to drive a Ford Expedition Max for the week and we’re highly pleased with all the functionality of the car including a sunroof perfect for visiting the national park. We were in the car and driving away from the airport within 30 minutes of landing. No long lines. No hassles by the agent. Everything went smoothly. Upon returning the car I received a small refund for returning one hour early.

We had a great experience with Alamo in Portland Maine. Very efficient, car was new and clean, and the return was very easy. Of course the cost was very high but I feel that is what we have to face considering the extreme inflation caused by the current, clueless federal administration. I recommend using Alamo Car Rentals.

The online process to register was very easy. Check in at the counter in Portland Maine was excellent. I had my keys for the rental within 5 minutes. And drop off was extremely smooth as well. Handed my keys to the attendant and that was it. Within an hour I had my emailwd receipt and as well as a thank you email from Alamo. Great experience.

I recently rented a full size car from Alamo for 21 days. The whole experience from picking up the car to dropping it off was problem free. I was able to get the car I wanted and had no problems during the 21 days I drove it. I will definitely look to use Alamo when renting a car in the future.

Staff and service were very efficient and professional and got us on our way promptly. The Toyota Corolla was perfect for our purposes and very easy to drive. Only downer was the cost - over $1100 for two weeks - whcich was double waht we used to pay a few years ago. Know we can thank the pandemic for that and all vendors seem to be charging the same exorbitant rates now unfortunately.

Online app rental was super easy. I was even able to go into the app and modify the car type which resulted in a much lower cost. The vehicle was available upon arrival/ The representative offered me an upgrade to a larger vehicle at no additional cost and allowed me to return it without filling it up with gas, too! Drop off was quick and easy. Took less than 5 mins and I was off to catch my plane. This was all at the pick-up/drop off location at the Portland JetPort in Portland, ME.

Location at parking garage in the airport is perfect. Very friendly staff, efficient and knowledgeable. 5 minutes to complete rental. Choice of cars was excellent. Best experience I have had since the pandemic!

Alamo is our rental company of choice and we have always had a great experience with them. We recently rented a vehicle at PWM Portland, Maine and our flight was changed. When I tried to modify my reservation online the price was close to double so I left it as is. When we got to the rental counter the agent took care of everything for us and we got our original reservation price. Everything was done quickly and we got a great SUV. Very happy with our experience.
