All My Sons Moving & Storage

I shopped around a lot before I chose movers and I couldn’t be happier! The sales and support staff were always friendly, professional, and well informed. The movers themselves were great! Friendly from start to finish (even in 90 degree weather) and they were quick. My furniture doesn’t have a single scratch and they set everything up just how I wanted it. I will definitely be choosing All My Sons for any future moves.

This was by far the best moving experience we have ever had. The crew was on time, quick, courteous, and careful with all our belongings. I couldn't thank these guys enough! Four hours from door to door including the set up of our furniture. I was in disbelief of how quick it was. Will and his crew were amazing. They were positive, upbeat, and a joy to watch. Will even sang nearly the entire move. It was a real treat to see people enjoying what they do and doing it as quickly as possible. Our next move, All My Sons will be my first call.

Terrible moving experience. First I was supposed to have a 4 man crew for the day and only 3 showed up. When the estimator came to my house he explained that a 3 man crew wasn’t very effective and yet that’s what I got the day of my move. My move was estimated to take 5 1/2 hours. Three hours in I hear two of the movers yelling at each other. They were having an argument about how the truck was being packed. The argument escalated and the driver called both the Supervisor at the office and the police. Before I know it I have 5 IMPD officers at my house as all of my neighbors come out of their houses wondering what is going on - so embarrassing. The Supervisor removed one of the guys from the move so then I was down to two people. Go figure, they couldn’t fit my belongings on the truck so they had to make two trips. My move started at 8:30am. At approximately 6pm the two movers left my new house to drive 1/2 hour back to the old house for the rest of my belongings. Twenty minutes later they call to tell me their truck broke down and the Supervisor would be calling to discuss options. We waited until another crew finished their move, picked up a new truck, and went to our old house to finish our move. They finished at 8:30pm. When the Supervisor and I discussed payment, he told me that this kind of behavior is expected in the moving industry. Not acceptable to me! My rates were adjusted but not without fighting for it. Never again All My Sons!

Scheduled a move with this company after favorable quote from estimator and availability. Staff called to reserve dates and ensurewe were good to go. Called to finalize payment today and operations manager Dontell informed us those dates have been full for weeks and was unsure why anyone booked us. Now left a week out from a cross country move scrambling to book movers. Stay away from these guys as no one knows what’s going on in that office.

I have done a lot of moving over the past 10 years and have dealt with a lot of moving companies. My husband and I frequently have moved stuff in and out of my condo to a storage unit for our tenants. We should’ve listened to the reviews we read! We have never had a company estimate a price and then try and double it upon arrival! What makes it worse is we made a $100 deposit that we were told was to reserve a time slot at 12pm. At 12:05 my husband called and they said it would be at least 2pm. This was frustrating bcs we received a call the previous week and my husband called back and was told someone would call him back, but no one did! They tried to blame their bad service on us for not trying to continue to call back! Wait what? We have to follow up with you after we already followed up with you? This is insane. Not only did they not show up at 2, but we had to keep calling them and the dispatcher would say they were en route and would call us...No call! We called back a few more times when we still hadn’t heard from them. Mind you we don’t live at this location so we are just there waiting all day bcs they keep saying they will be there soon...at 4pm I called and said we needed to be done by 6 and had planned to be done by 2pm. I explained I have worked with a ton of companies and while 15-30 min can be expected that 4pm was ridiculous. They said they would get a discount. We realized things seemed shady and upon arrival we noticed the older man and the driver smelled of alcohol right away. I told him I wanted a quote before they loaded the truck bcs I was beginning to believe some of the reviews. He came back with double the price we were quoted. We got on the phone with the manager who refused to budge on price. He did not hold his company to a high enough standard to stand by what they promised us. When we chose to go with them we knew we only had a few items and they could move in an hour and then they charge an hour of travel and we confirmed it would be around $300 and she said yes. My husband is very level headed and I have never seen him so angry. After getting no where with the manager we told the guys to put everything back and sent the truck home. Do you know how bad a company has to be to wait 4 hours for a mover and then reject them because they are so dishonest and you refuse to work with a company like that? Please take our advice and take these reviews to heart. We typically take them with a grain of salt, but we are regretting it now. There were 2 younger gentleman with the driver, who smelled of alcohol, and they were 100% apologetic and professional. They really wanted to get the job done for us. It’s unfortunate they work for such a crooked company. I would’ve hired them on the side if I could’ve.
