My fiancee brought in uniforms to the North Rock in Wichita location to have hemming done on work uniforms done and was met by a Latvian (?) counter employee that presented with a language barrier. 2 trouser pants needed work. The seat of one pair of black uniform pants were previously done by hand (likely from the last wearer) in a bright green thread in the seat. The other pair of pants had a large hole in the seam in the crotch. The Latvian employee refused to fix these two discrepancies, as the contract with my fiance's employer supposedly did not allow any alterations other than hemming of the leg for length only. Even though he and i explained that we needed the other discrepancies fixed as well, and were willing to pay for the difference, the clerk continued to have an issue with this. Upon return to pick up the garments, the other mending was repaired at no cost by a different, customer service lady, who likely did the work herself.

The price for tailored seamstress work was very affordable. They fixed up my pants from my recent weight loss. I look and feel great! Thank you!!!!

Dropped off seven shirts to have sleeves altered, told them I needed one done in three days in the morning, no rush on the others. Called that morning on my way to pick the one shirt up and was told they'd all be done by 4pm.
Had a Groupon, was told after I went to pick up (and pay, you know, when they apply coupons) that you have to tell them when you drop off or they don't apply it. Pointed to a little sign with text so small you have to almost go across the counter to read.
Can't understand a word anyone says that works there either.
Terrible.

I needed a lace dress altered last minute. I was sure they would say it was impossible, but they did the exact opposite. I can not believe how accommodating and quick these ladies were. They saved the day. My dress turned out flawless!

Took my husband's marine camis in to have 3 name tapes sewn on. 2 on the blouse and 1 on the trousers. Before I left I showed her exactly how they needed to go on each spot, she said okay and that it would take 2 days. Came back 2 days later and she had them completely crooked! Not straight at all and definitely not where I showed her how they needed to be. When I asked about it she said "I know but that's how they do it in the army" are you kidding Me? I said "well it's not the army, it's the marines, they are completely different branches!" It even says us marines on one of the name tapes! So she redid them and I picked them up the next day and it was still sloppy. However the price wasn't bad but I guess you get what you pay for. We will not be going back.
