American Overhead Door

Called American Overhead Door, after my garage door decided to come off the rails, and nearly collapse onto the car still stuck in the garage. They quickly scheduled an appointment a few days out. I was worried about the cost of the repair, after googling repair costs of similar jobs. David, their technician, came over at the scheduled time, and within an hour, had everything put back together and functioning. He then came back the following Saturday for a quick follow-up. I was very impressed with their quick response, professionalism, and the reasonableness of the cost. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing help with their garage door.

Gary operates a very well-run organization. This garage door company is reasonably priced, shows up when they say they will, and does impeccable work. I have known Gary for a couple of years and his philosophy for owning a business is a model all should emulate. I have used them on a rental home, a new home purchase, and each time Gary's employees are thorough and cordial. I highly recommend them.

An estimated Three to four weeks time-frame, ended up at almost Ten. Poor installation Job. No follow through. Update: Upgraded to 3 stars as they did eventually come to repair the poor initial installation. Everything is fine now.

Was in the office to purchase a garage door for my home and instead was witness to s very uncomfortable seen. Not sure what the issue was but I instead saw a gentleman l later found out was named Gary cone out and ask a customer who had just asked for a product be asked for whatever reason to leave. Needless to say it was awkward as every employee and customer watched this unfold with eyes in disbelief. I left immediately and after doing some research found that Gary is the owner. BAD BUISNESS. Also get your door done by an expert who knows GARAGE DOORS. After a bad service call I gave them another chance. BIG MISTAKE LOOK AROUND FOR EXPERIENCE BEFORE YOU BUY!! Although businesses do reserve the right to refuse service I believe doing so on the basis of RACE,COLOR,RELIGION is not reserving your right it is bigotry. One need look no further than company pictures to see the lack of diversity and the "Good ole boys" system at American Overhead door.

Our garage door was not opening all the way. Seth came a few hours after we called and did all kinds of adjustments to the springs and track and performed general maintenance for a really reasonable price. The best service we have had on anything since we moved to Colorado Springs last November.
