I am not sure why my experience is the exact opposite of everyone else BUT i brought two pairs of shoes in to the shop. One pair of work boots for a resole and new rubber on the bottom and a pair of brown Allen Edmonds for a shine and new heels. Both seemed great when i got them, however 7 months later the soles of the work boots are cracked and separating from the rubber bottoms, the glue did not hold up at all and its peeling away. This kind of repair should last years before needing attention. The Allen edmonds shoes came out great! Until I wore them around and realized they used some sort of spray polish which was not the same color and as it wore away left deep grooves and ugly marks all over the shoes. I took them to a new place and they had to strip the entire shoe to start from scratch because this polish was so built up and the wrong color. Not planning on going back.

I’ve been going to Byron and his mom’s business (Andrade) for more than a 14 years. Over 3 moves too- I still take all my shoes and leather goods there (all the way from brooklyn!). Service and quality of work is unsurpassed. I’ve recommended countless friends. I have shoes that are almost 20 years old that still look and feel like new thanks to his tlc and craftsmanship. Best cobbler in nyc!

Was really impressed with the quality of work. My old Prada bag had a broken zipper. It is like new after 'Andrade Shoe Repair' installed a new zipper, keeping the original hardware. Reasonable price as well. Highly recommend!
