Giovanni Shoe Repair

Dropped off my beloved Frye boots where the sole was wearing through to have them fitted with rubber outsoles (leather bottoms and NYC streets are apparently not friends). I didn't know what to expect, but other people have said this place is good, and I have to say they were right!!! It looks like I bought the boots with the rubber already in place! Highly recommend going here if your shoes have taken a beating. They will surely bring them back to life - and make them look like new.

We patronized this shop before and they did a reasonable job and were courteous. However, today they were rude to my wife and deliberately unhelpful, ignoring us while they sat around and talked with one another drrinking coffee, etc. The service was poor and the minimal repair was not made in a timely way. The lack of timeliness would be understandable if they were very busy, but clearly that was not the case. And unlike our previous experience, the cost of the repair seemed excessive.

Great prices and generous with their work. Brought five pairs in for heel replacements and they touched up the leather and fabric that was worn. I come all the way from Brooklyn for their work.

Fast service, fair prices, convenient hours open, did a great job replacing the toe leather only on my expensive Crockett & Jones shoes.
