This place is absolutely awful. I'm glad I got my cat from here only to have gotten him away from this place. First of all I have never been around such rude employees who know NOTHING about the animals they are supposed to be caring for. I asked if a cat that looked similar to mine was from the same home because they looked similar and had the same date of coming there. If they were from the same home I was considering taking both. The woman looked at me like I was crazy and said she had no clue and tries not to learn too much about the animals. So at that point you'd think she'd point me to someone who knew more but nope! Another employee was extremely rude to me because I have a non conventional family considering my stepfather my father. Do you guys coach your employees on not being disgustingly rude at all? They also don't care to coach people who have pets who have to have surgery. My cat had to be neutered and I was COMPLETELY unprepared that piece of paper does not prepare you for the mental care of these animals post operative. I was frightened because I had had a relative whose cat never woke up after being neutered and expressed that to them and still no one tried to prepare me for this. Thank God for Google because I knew little to nothing. And to top it all off my parents went to adopt a pit bull who has been there since NOVEMBER my dad really really liked him and the guy promised to call them about him. They never called but now I'm hearing that's quite common for Black people at this shelter. I feel so bad for those poor animals in that shelter.

This hell hole doesn't even deserve one star. I've heard nothing but horrible things about this shelter and it's owner for YEARS. I adopted 2 cats from them a year ago, 4/23 to be specific. I was lied to about both of their ages. I was told they were 7 and 9. Vets examining them told me they are 10 and 12. The younger one had worms, stones, and an autoimmune disorder. The older guy has advanced chronic kidney failure. I strongly feel these medical conditions were deliberately withheld from me. And as far as the worms are concerned, they simply didn't care for the animals. That doesn't require testing. You could freakin see them. Meanwhile, this poor cat with kidney failure had been getting worse for a year, unbeknownst to me because he's done a really good job at acting like everything is fine. I would have been treating him if I had known. I didn't think to take cats that came from a shelter to a vet for a full work up like I'm buying a used car. Now this poor guy only has weeks to live. AWL needs to be shut down and the people in charge need to be prosecuted.

This place really do care about animals and their families. The support I got with dealing with my cancer stricken Lady will never be forgotten. Nor when her time had to come to say good-bye they once again were very supportive. Sure the place may not be perfect or ideal {what place is}, but they do try their best with what they are given to function on. If I can ever get over the pain of my Lady being gone, I would go there to adopt and allow my pets to be seen there.

That staff were polite but I didn't like the hidden fees they all of the sudden charged me on the day of surgery. They supposedly had a special of $116.00 to spay my pet including shots which was fine. They make you pay that upfront, upon day of surgery they hit me with mandatory medicine fee, optional "cone and pain shot and tell you how your pet will suffer without it. So the supposedly $116 ended up being $184.00 out the door. I just wish they were more transparent and upfront in the beginning with all these fees.

This place is absolutely trash!!!!!!!! Avoid coming here at all costs! Staff is super rude and treats you like you're dumb. They lie about the order they take in their patients. I came in at 11 am, I'm still here at 8 pm. The ladies at the front desk are undeniable racist. From the moment I got there until I left, the waiting room was full of black and Hispanic people because they would take in all the white people first even if they arrived after you. Worst vet facility in the world. DO NOT BRING YOUR FURRY FRIENDS!!!! It may be cheap but it is most definitely, without any doubt in my mind, not worth bringing your pet here. I left a bad review on Facebook, and the blocked me so no one could see my complaint. The building itself id disgusting, very unclean. I would honestly give this place 0 stars out of 10 if it was possible. It is a horrible excuse for a clinic and I'm actually surprised it hasn't been shut down yet and this is coming from someone who's had a bad experience with them with three different pets and every visit I made there seem to be getting worse and worse.
