One Tail at a Time Adoption Center

I had a awesome experience there to adopt my dog. I love the structure of the place, the dogs seems happy there. The are reaaly good doing their job.

You will not find a more determined, fun loving, dedicated group than One Tail At A Time. From the director, Heather, all staff, the many volunteers & foster homes...this community is THE best dog rescue. Every dog saved is loved like their own until a wonderful forever home is found. If you want to help save a life, in any capacity able, join this community. You won’t regret it.

One Tail is not only a great place to find a dog to join your family, but also a place to find a community of caring individuals. OTAT focuses heavily on responsibly rescuing dogs from our city shelters, and also assists the Chicago community at large with vaccine and spay/neuter clinics as well as the CRISP program. I'm so lucky to have adopted from One Tail and joined a fantastic group of compassionate people in the process.

OTAT is one of the most dedicated rescues I’ve ever seen. I’ve volunteered with them for just over 6 months now and this community is incredible. The staff work tirelessly at the center and on tons of events and programs; they are genuinely great people and would do anything for these dogs. They’re truly committed to making Chicago a no-kill city. Any human would be lucky to end up with an OTAT dog!

Extremely unprofessional founder, Heather, that can and has been extremely vicious And rude to others doing what they can to rescue chicagoland animals in need. We all have a common goal, lets work towards it instead of putting others down.
