Paul is a true master craftsman! He resized my mom's hawaiian bracelet. It has a very intricate, custom design, and Paul matched it perfectly. His attention to detail is amazing.
Mr. Armbruster did an amazing job with resizing our wedding rings! He was very kind, friendly, and professional. Despite the very short timeline, he was able to resize our rings at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend him for all jewelry related work!
My jeweler of choice. He's absolutely wonderful and I've been doing business with him since the 1970's. I am still doing business with Paul! He's a talented man.
I took several pieces of jewelry to have fixed, re-sized, and changed. I took in a rope chain that I wanted cut into a necklace and a bracelet. I had already picked up several pieces and was fairly happy. When I picked up the rope necklace and bracelet I didn't really compare the two together. I just trusted that they were the same. Which was my mistake. The 2 did not match at all. The bracelet I got was much smaller in dimensions then the necklace. So they made out on that one So buyer be ware, make sure you check things out very carefully when you pick things up to make sure it's right. It still makes me sick when I look at my bracelet because it's not the right one!!!!! I would never trust them again to do anything for me!!!!
A true master craftsman-and one of the few that still do all Hawaiian gold pieces designed by hand instead of by mold. Such fine work from start to finish. I had a Hawaiian ring and earrings designed by his family and they were great to work with. I have also used them for repairs -and fantastic!
They make custom jewelry anything you can think of super friendly staff.
Mr. Armbruster is truly an amazing artist and an honest man in a business where there are usually just thieves. I brought in my Grandmother's 50+ year old three-tiered ring and a few items to be re-pronged, cleaned, etc. Mr. Armbruster put a new diamond in the center of the antique ring as well as a few that were missing in the other tiers. The ring looks like it's brand new. As another reviewer stated, I am amazed at what I was quoted and what I was actually charged. How Mr. Armbruster can stay in business with the low prices he charges, it amazing. His craftsmanship is spot on and in my opinion he's a miracle worker! Great job and I have found my jeweler for life.
Paul and his Ohana made me feel like family and pointed me in the right direction when it came to engagement rings. Excellent quality and outstanding customer service!!! I highly recommend Paul J. Ambruster Goldsmiths. Definitely going back for future jewelry service and needs!!! Completely satisfied!!
Took a sterling silver I.D. bracelet to Mr. Armbruster. It had a missing locking clasp, many scratches, pits and scrolling from previous owner. When I got it back I was pleasantly shocked. He repaired all flaws, hand crafted a new locking clasp from sterling silver and engraved it as I wished. It had a brilliant hand polished shine. A true work of art. I was elated. I was again beside myself when he handed me the bill/receipt. The price he charged made me wonder how he could stay in business it was so low. This man is a living example of a true old world artesian, craftsman and artist. The love for what he does and the immense pride he takes in his work is rarely, if ever, seen in the world today. Thank you sincerely Paul. I'm proud to say you are my one and only gold/silversmith.
I went there to fix my watch but I haven't got a single notice from them since then. After 8 month we went back there asking why it takes so long and he comes up with every excuse, doesn't even tell us when it will be finished no apologies btw After we keep on complaing he finally decided to fix but he broke the glass he said watch is too small or something We told him we'll take the watch back so pay for what he broke. He said he would and we took our watch back. All we asked for him to do is to change battery. It took MORE THEN 8monthcould've been longer if we didnt complain + he broke my watch completely when he broke the glass. My watch was just fine before we handed to them and like I said, all I wanted to do was to change battery. I went to the other shop and were told this watch is broken and itll cost 550 to fix. He refused to pay this saying he'll only pay for the glass $50. I waited 8month just to get my watch broken. Never ever coming back. Worst service ever.
