Avis Car Rental

Overall good experience at this location. The place can be a little tough to find. When you arrive at the address, go down a pathway under an awning to enter the building to get to the elevator. Renting process was simple. I rented online ahead of time, so the car was waiting and ready. The front desk attendant was friendly and helpful. Returning the car was also quick and easy. My only issue is that the car had pistachio shells and a box of tissues under the seat.

FRAUDSTER ALERT!! I wish I could give negative review here. Made a reservation with 400 for 2.5 days, front desk tried to charge me 600 and then 1000 after I agreed on 600. ONE THOUSAND DOLLAR!! Does Avis only have Ferrari??? Front desk lady was extremely rude and racist, refused to show any official evidence and paperwork. SHAME ON YOU AVIS!! That's how your employees intentionally SWINDLE your customer! AVOID this place as much as you can!

Terrible service. I rented and paid for a car online from this location and when I got to the location they told me my debit card couldn't be used for the rental - despite the fact that the website had charged me in full for the full rental on the very card - told me it was a location specific decision and refused to offer me any help and told me to call corporate. So I was left stranded, on a schedule,, out of a full rental fee from a company who says they couldnt take accept my payment method. I ended up renting a car from Enterprise on 83rd and am still waiting to some sort of refund confirmation from Avis which was promised. :-( what a sham. STAY AWAY

I was very pleased with the speed of service. I got my car il less than 5 minutes, the drop off was as fast. The car was in good condition.

I've rented there dozens of times and haven't ever had a problem. Sometimes they are busy/slow but nothing insane.
