Hertz

I like this place. Attendants are usually very quick and cars come out quickly. It's my go to rental place.

This is a really convenient location. They will get you in and out very quickly - just be aware that Saturday mornings and Friday evenings can be busy. I gave some feedback and the manager reached out right away and was very responsive. I use this location about twice a month and they've been great.

It's great to have a hertz on the UWS. Friday's Today's rental went well. There was no line at the counter for pick-up or drop off, but there was a wait to pull into the garage with the car on the return.

Consistently slow but the counter staff is usually friendly. Good location but multiple car rental sites on the block can make returning a car very difficult. And the garage is very small and staffed by unfriendly people.

Car was fine and checkout person was good, but 1) car had less gas than I was told it did (told 3/4, but actually 5/8) and on return 2) took about 10 minutes to return since their at-car attendants do not have mobile checkout (Avis, etc. do in NYC) and 3) I had to talk to a manager to get credit for the extra gas I returned with (Avis, etc. always give credit if they weren't able to give a car with a full tank, but Hertz would not do it until I asked 5 times). Disappointed with Hertz! Going back to Avis or others.
