Baymont by Wyndham Columbus/Rickenbacker

Amazing hotel! This place is WAY more affordable than most other Columbus hotels with similar amenities (including a breakfast kitchen and a dinner bar/grille). The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Very friendly staff! 4/5 stars because there was an issue with the side door of the hotel.

Clean nice people at front desk very helpful.good breakfast just wish had bacon. Indoor pool was nice.

Arrived here around 6-ish to a friendly and outgoing receptionist who checked me in with detailed explanation about hotel amenities, pool hour, etc. My room was set up as requested, away from the ice/vending machine and elevators. Inside was clean and well stocked, but had this odor of traces of cleaning/sanitizing product. My bed bug inspection came out clean. Oddly, the window side wall paper was peeling a bit and the walls had this odd purple stain on them. These didn't bother me much but there were this faint smell of mold that I found out in the morning during shower that was coming strongly from the shower curtain! Continental breakfast felt like a buffet restaurant with eggs, biscuits and gravy, hash brown, two waffle machines, cereal, bagels, donuts, fruit, etc etc. After sleeping well in their comfortable bed, I asked the friendly cleaning maids about the odd purple stains and no one knew what I was talking about but apologized for causing inconvenience. Honestly, if it wasn't for the shower curtain and disinterested lady in charge of breakfast who ignored my troubles with the waffle machine, I would've given higher rating.

Great breakfast. Beds are super hard and rooms are gloomy and outdated. But I love the new breakfast area.
