It was a surprise! I've stayed at Baymont in the past and this was a whole new experience...a great one! The staff was wonderful and the room was full of upgrades from the giant flat screen to the over abundance of storage to the awesome availability of places to plug in chargers. Plus...there was Zz-quil in the room!

Room was clean, smelled nice, they had mints on the pillows, working mini fridge, good water pressure, and fresh towels. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Theres no elevator so had to carry everything to the 2nd floor, the hotel is very hot and humid until you get to your room. First room we had smelled terrible, asked to be switched and second room was better. Rooms are old and seem dirty. Breakfast is pretty much non existant, we went to starbucks down the street. Only reason we booked this is because we went through priceline and they called this a 3 star hotel, the 2.5 star hotel in the area I'm sure was much better, I would say this is more of a 1 star.

We are almost exclusively Hampton inn people...but the Hampton is on the other side of town from our family...we tried Baymont, the very reasonable rate scared us.But the whole place wowed us . Especially the 55 inch Tv's. Very clean, quite,they have a nice discount for extended stay. And the beds and pillows that we are used to with Hampton....the great rates my guess is no pool or elevator...but we don't care about that. Sorry pet lovers and smokers none of that at this hotel either. Just like Hampton Inn
