Beach Counseling Center

The only reason it is getting 2 stars is for the intern, she is great. You don't get a straight answer and its just beating around the bush so to speak to get an answer. When you need help the most you gotta wait about 3 weeks. I wasn't told directly my kids insurance wasn't working and they need help so do I and it was like duh you gotta figure it out by asking certain questions. Very unprofessional and honestly I don't know how a mental doctors office can pick and choose. Its about the money. ( my teen was right ) Thats why there is so many issues in America now. If an Americans insurance has a copay, the copay is what is important not their patient. Even when you have a year to pay it and you paid some on it! Its only like 100 lol. I keep my word and I also know this is what is wrong with America. This is America at Its Finest. Thanks for all the help yall. Not. It would be nice to know up front about your insurance for your kids etc. This makes me sad to be an American. The mental issues Americans have and even if they have two different insurances they can't get any help because they have to keep calling back to finally get an answer and boom its all about the copay. I have lost faith in America Thanks Beach Counseling Center.

*Review update* *While I have had some unfortunate experiences with some of the staff members at Beach Counseling Center, I'd like to add that Lee Philips has been wonderful. Her relocating to this center was the very reason I began going here and have stayed. I have also met Dr. Annie and can tell that she truly cares about the well being of her clients and is passionate about what she does. Jennifer Barnes is also a great therapist who I saw briefly before my schedule changed and I could no longer see her on the days she is there.* My first patient appointment was canceled an hour and a half before the appointment time without me being contacted first. I called back immediately after receiving the message it had been canceled only to be told that they had already filled my appointment slot. The reason for canceling was that I missed my appointment back in April. I was in urgent care that day. It shouldn't come back to bite me now when I needed this appointment most. Especially when they scheduled me in with no issue only to call and cancel while I'm getting ready to come in.

Outstanding staff!! I absolutely love Dr. Annie and everyone here! I am receiving excellent treatment and am very comfortable here. There is a loving, warm atmosphere! I feel like a new, healthy person :) I definitely recommend!!

I love this place, I see Annie and Lee Phillips...all the time there scheduling is flawless anybody else who says other wise is WRONG because it’s pretty standard to not be rescheduled when you miss your first appointment I have been coming for 2 years and will miss them when I go to college.

My daughter and I saw Dr. Annie. Making the first step to go to counseling wasn't easy but Beach Counseling Center made it easy and Dr. Annie was really able to help us both with our relationship. Dr. Annie also helped me with anxiety and I'm thrilled it has been quite some time since my anxiety has stopped me from doing something like it did in the past. I would highly recommend Beach Counseling Center to anyone and everyone!!
