Beacon Cleaners

I always use them for my dry cleaning and am very happy with the service, if I’ve ever had a problem they make it right. It’s conveniently located to me and even though they are operating out of a temporary trailer at the moment they still seems very organized and know right where my clothes are when I pickup. I would recommend using them as your DC.

I should have read the reviews before I used them. I brought a Pendleton blanket to be cleaned that had a Minor orange juice stain. $30 later I get the blanket home to discover that the stain was 100% still there. I don't know that they actually washed it! Its as if they just bagged it and charged be 30 bucks....do not bring them your business they are horrible.

BE FOREWARNED. I brought in 3 Pendleton wool shirts for dry cleaning, one new and the others a few years old. The girl at the counter tagged them for dry cleaning. When I went to pick them up, they were all shrunk. And Beacon's response? "Contact the manufacturer because the shirts were defective." This is absurd. The older shirts had been dry cleaned numerous times. Not only did Beacon make the shirts unwearable, they wouldn't own their mistake, nor compensate me for $150 of damage that they caused.

First time I went in they charged me 2.35 per shirt gave a claim indicating a total. Second time I go in they gave me no claim slip. No big deal, I've been to enough dc 'ers to know this is common. What is uncommon is charging almost 2 more per shirt more with no warning on pickup. Needless to say I won't be going back and advise you to go elsewhere also. Btw... Pulling up and seeing the person who is handling your closes smoking is unprofessional. Walking into a business and smelling cigarette smoke is disgusting.
