We did the guided tour of the mansion. We also paid for a child's backpack. The child's backpack was a fantastic idea. At each of the places on the estate it had a treasure box for the children with activities. This kept the kids engaged. It also had information on each place broken down into kid friendly language. While my husband and I did the wine tasting they were able to sit and color. Was well worth the money!

This place is beautiful and charming. The tour I got was interesting and the historical interpreter did a fantastic job. The wine tasting was incredible, and I can't believe how good all the wines were! I actually bought a bottle, it was that good. I loved the croquet and ice cream shop, and the landscaping is enchanting. I can't wait to bring people with me next time!

Excellent place to visit. Rich in history. So if you are a history nerd, this is a must see. But if your not, you'll still enjoy the beautiful scenery on the property. Mansion tour guide was very fun and knowledgable. I also liked the Smoke House and Cabin where the slaves lived in. Gift shop was awesome.

This was our second time back and the visit did not disappoint. This time we did the full ticket tour of the mansion and wine tasting. The tour of the mansion was really informative and shared fun details of the history of the grounds and people who lived there - and the time seemed to go pretty quickly (I.e. never got bored). The grounds are beautiful and a nice stroll to see the different sites. The wine was better than I remember and we ended up buying a bottle and had them open it and sat outside enjoying the space - a very nice way to end the visit.

Very nice tour and photo opportunity on a less busy day as photos go. RV and bus parking is limited to about 10 spaces. You can take pictures easily on the grounds before you buy your ticket to tour the mansion, but don't you dare miss that amazing tour. Tours wait for a crowd to assemble, to the tune of 30 to 45 minutes wait time.
