Best Buy

The WORST experience ever. We bought a dishwasher a week and a half ago. On Monday the driver/installer basically decided he didn't want to wait to get into our community and turned around and left. Made up some BS excuse why he couldn't get into the gate. Then today it's rescheduled (5 days later). They schedule a delivery and a separate install. The dishwasher gets delivered about 11am and then at 1pm the installer calls and says he'll be here shortly. 2:30pm I call the installer and ask if he got lost. He says he got hung up on another job and they should have called me to tell me they were sending someone else. So now I wait some more. On top of all this.....we've spoken with and received an email from a Best Buy "Case Manager" by the name of Chaase Fordham. He sends and email with a disconnected phone number. Who in customer service sends an email with a disconnected number? If I could give this a ZERO star experience I would. When they say free installation I guess you truly get what you pay for! And I still wait.............

Really only useful at this point to see things in person you will later buy on Amazon. Customer service is never great. Was banned for a year from returns or exchanges because I had 3 in the span of a year. 2 of which were actually price matches, and the other was a $40 keyboard that didn't work.

My laptop died and I was desperate for a new one since I needed it for school and I had a paper due the next day. I went to Best Buy in hopes that they could fix my problem but my laptop was too far gone. I was able to recover some items and the sales associate was super helpful in guiding me towards what type of laptop I needed.

This Best Buy is one of the few electronics stores in the area which, in my opinion, contributes to the nonchalant attitude that some of the employees have adopted. If you are bringing items for repair or warranty exchange/replacement... Go elsewhere. I've brought items for repair merely to compare prices and the general response is why repair this item for exorbitant sums of money when you can just buy something new? I was quoted a price so ridiculous I was in shock. I later repaired the item within an hour... I believe the minimum is 75 dollars (just for looking at your item). I'd hate to know what an actual repair would cost.. Luckily I can repair my own.. Having worked in Information technology. Exchanges? Worse? Believe me... I wish it were not the case.. But it is. The sneering exchanges I received from two of the employees were almost enough to make me turn and leave but I soldiered on and finally got a human to help me to which they stated that they wouldn't exchange it without a receipt but refused to look for the receipt on their end. The employee ended up getting snippy with me at which point I felt it better to leave as I was about to give him a piece of my mind. Avoid unless you have an emergency... And by emergency I mean someone's life depends on it. If you're going to buy something its like every other Best buy... Cheap with a good selection.

Everyone was great and they helped us pick the best computer for our son but didn't try to push into something more expensive. We shop here often.
