I purchased my wedding gown here, but even if I hadn't, I would still give 5 stars. The sales girls were super friendly, the store has a very big selection for any budget, the dresses are gorgeous and I like that they let you browse on your own first. (Not many salons let you pick your own dresses to try - they make you describe and then show you what they think you would like). Lydia helped me narrow it down to 2 and was very patient while I had difficulty making up my mind. Very nice boutique with warm and friendly staff - I would recommend coming here early in your search.

I said "Yes to my dress" this past weekend and Kerri was my salesperson and she was amazing! She was patient and extremely helpful! She did not try to push you or rush you at all and offered her honest opinion. When I went to purchase my dress the next day Kerri was not in however Sally I believe her name was (I apologize if that is wrong )but she was great as well! I would highly recommend buying your wedding dress from here! I had a great experience and cannot wait until I get my dress!:)

I found my gown at Bliss in February of 2017. It was my third boutique of my dress shopping experience so I had an idea of how it would go. Shandy was my consultant, she was nice and sweet. I was told to browse the racks and choose a few I liked; now being a consultant myself I understand this is not the best way to start off. I had no idea what would look good on me, but narrowed it down to a beautiful Maddison Collection a-line and a Lace and organza MoriLee. I was very torn and we had another appointment, I left very unsure of myself.
I called Sally back right after my next appointment and told her that my dress was one of the two I narrowed down at Bliss. She made accommodations for us to come back in for me to say yes to my dress. She brought sparkling juice and chocolates, and did not rush me. I was measured, we paid and left happy!
My gown arrive 5 months later, but was unfortunately ordered in the wrong size. Meredith next door was incredible and so friendly. Bliss covered my alterations needed for the take in, and my gown, the MoriLee, turned out beautifully.
Thank you to everyone at Bliss and Luxe for keeping my experience a stress free one. I am a consultant and With Love Bridal in Kanata now and I am always referring our Toronto-area-brides who don’t buy to you.

Very humiliating, disappointing and stressful experience with Bliss Bridal Boutique.
Both myself and a second bridesmaid received defective dresses (visual boning placement in a very awkward part of the bust area…) from Bliss Bridal. I made a follow up appointment in order to bring my concerns to their attention and to have the seamstress alter my dress to fit to size. I arrived at the store and explained the defect, it was then explained to me by staff that it was not a defect and that is simply how the dress looks due to color and that they do not do returns. **At a later date during another follow up meeting, Bliss Bridal's seamstress stated that in fact the 2 dresses were defective in the bust area and required to be fixed**. Prior to this information from the Bliss Bridal's seamstress, I was advised to take the dress to my own seamstress to be fixed – after I drove 1 hour 45 minutes to their store for a booked appointment to address this issue. Not only did they refuse to take two defective dresses back or fix them, they attempted to send me away to another seamstress at my own expense after spending $300.00 at their store ($600 between the 2 dresses) rather than offering to have their seamstress fix the defect at no charge.
During the same appointment the employee moved on from the defect taking zero action on this concern and explained to me that the dress can not be let out. **At a later date, Bliss Bridal’s seamstress stated that this dress can indeed have a corset tie installed eliminating the size issue.** It is important to note that myself and the second bridesmaid purchased additional material together during our initial appointment in the emergency that our dresses did not fit and required alterations/to be let out/a corset tie incorporated into the back of the dress etc. With that said, I am now pregnant and needed the dress to be let out. So there I was, with a defective dress knowing that I now need to get the dress defect fixed at my own expense as well as a corset tie installed. The saleslady stated that I will need to purchase a new dress. I trusted her, panicked and purchased a second dress that day.
On several occasions during this appointment the saleslady chose to focus on my weight and how I did not fit into the dress rather than the obvious dress defect in the bust area. Being pregnant, repeatedly hearing that my weight was the issue, not the dress defect, did not necessarily make me feel wonderful about myself– clearly I knew the dress no longer fit properly which is why I made a follow up appointment at the store… to have the defect fixed plus a corset tie installed to allow me to fit into the dress. I did not expect the store to pay for the corset tie alteration however, I was hoping (ethically) they would stand by their product and fix the defect at no charge.
Correspondence continued with Bliss Bridal attempting to find a solution. It is important to note that the staff at Bliss Bridal stated several times that they would call back at specific times to discuss the issue and on several occasions they did not follow through with their statements which resulted in the customer calling back to reach someone, anyone, to speak about the concerns. With several hours wasted, being ignored and insulted about my weight I finally received a return.
It is unfortunate that over 2 defective dresses Bliss Bridal lost several returning customers plus future referrals. I truly understand that stores such as Bliss Bridal are extremely busy and provide many people with beautiful dresses and experiences however this long, exhausting experience was not a positive one and I hope that the store takes this experience and learns from it. To put this into perspective, I am a customer who does not suffer from body image insecurities – but this will not always be the case. It upsets me to think of a potential customer with body image insecurities going through the above described issues repeatedly hearing comments regarding their weight.
Please be aware of your comments and approach to sales in the future.
