Bob's Discount Furniture

Recently moved to Bethel CT. Needed some new furniture for my new place. Purchased from Bob’s furniture. My first experience was great. My second purchase was horrible! The delivery was scheduled for May 16, 2018. My wife stayed home the whole day to find out the truck would not deliver my furniture. The reason was the truck could not find the address. Remind you that they just delivered furniture to me the week before. My address is new so we told the salesperson that our address would not show on the GPS. The driver went to the wrong address and our delivery was cancelled. I called customer care and they told me that I would have to reschedule the delivery. I called the store where I purchased and talked to the Sales Manager. He made some calls and was able to schedule my delivery 05/18/18 between 6:15 am and 10:15 am. Well once again my delivery was not delivered due to the driver not locating address. Not even a phone call! The driver took a picture of a door at another address not belonging to me and stated they rung the doorbell. Due to my frustration I went to the store and cancelled my order. I will find another furniture store!!!!!!

A couple weeks ago my husband and I visited Bobs to get a new mattress. We were met at the door by Lenny and pleasantly greeted. After our brief introduction I explained We were looking to replace a mattress we had for 23 years and wanted to try the bobopedic after seeing so many commercials. After showing me several types, I decided on the twilight. Lenny was very attentive in finding the perfect mattress for me and describing the different types of mattresses they offered. He was extremely knowledgeable and genuine. When you need a mattress, or any other furniture make sure to see Lenny!!

Just left Bob's with furniture for our new place! Howard helped us and was so kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. I'm so glad we worked with him. Just like the other reviewers said the salespeople here do not pester you or follow you around. You are able to browse in peace! Stacy the manager was very kind and helpful too! We enjoyed the treats and looking at the fish while we shopped with our daughter! Thank you Howard and Stacy for a fun shopping experience. We will be back.

My father-in-law and I had a great experience purchasing a recliner for his living room! My one negative comment was that it did take a while to have someone come and help us and I needed to seek out assistance rather than being greeted which I know is normally what happens going in there... But besides that oversight the manager and sales lady that helped both were very friendly, knowledgeable, and quick with the process... As my father-in-law does have some medical issues and can't get around easily and the fact that it was quickly done and we were in and out of the store definitely helped!!!!

I had an incredibly positive experience shopping at the bob’s location in Connecticut. Sales associate Carolann was very friendly and patient. She assisted me in finding the right sofa and dining set for my space. She also had a keen interior design eye helping me find a rug that appropriately fit the space. I would surely shop at bob’s again for my future home furnishing needs asking for Carolann. I would also recommend any friends or family members to request sales associate Carolann for their home furnishing needs as well.
