Bob's Discount Furniture

No. I have made several purchases from this place (all in one trip) and they are one of the cheapest places around (both in price and quality). If you are on a budget, go for it. If it is possible to hold out for something better...do it. If you have to buy here get any protection plan they offer...you will be glad you did. I purchased their protection plan but opted to just buy better quality furniture. Some of the problems I encountered...Dye from couches transferred to my walls and required them to be re-painted, arm of couch broke (no kids or heavy use), black label mattress became uncomfortable and distorted after less than a year of use (we are not heavy people or anything like that), marble top on kitchen table cracked at seams, and a table leg became wobbly (screws wouldn't hold). Given the totality I wouldn't ever even consider them again...it doesn't seem to be a matter of one piece...it was all but two pieces. To be fair I am writing this about an experience I had a while back....maybe they have changed, but this place is not for me.

When we entered the building, we were approached by Heather. When we found what we were looking for, she assisted us and provided outstanding customer service. We were very pleased and would definitely be back for more purchases in the future. Most furniture companies harass and follow you while shopping. Heather allowed us to take our time and find her when we had made a decision between the two sets we were considering. I am a human resource mgr at my job and when you see great customer service, it is so important to let the company know. Heather made our shopping experience pleasant and we hope she is recognized because you have a great employee.

Went to Bob's in Warwick, RI. The first thing I noticed when I went in was the Koi fish pond. It's SO beautiful, and the fish are ADORABLE. Then I stopped at the free cafe for some coffee and treats. Debbie was such a sweet heart. When I was done at the cafe, I walked around the store looking at all of their furniture options. The prices were incredible, and the furniture was beautiful. I'm pretty sure I'll be back.

Diane was great. No pressure. Answered all of our questions. She was patient when I talked in circles about how I could configure our new couch to our living room. She helped give us recommendations on what options we had. When we talked about maybe moving she helped us pick out an awesome sectional that could come apart into much smaller pieces instead of a bulky traditional sofa / love seat like we have currently. I didn't plan on making a purchase today. I was going to go home and think about it but Diane's charm and winning personality made the decision easy. I didn't want to go back and deal with anyone else but her. She was super friendly, professional and courteous. I recommend anyone going to Bob's to see Diane. She is the best! Thank you!

If anyone needs furniture, I highly recommend this place! Mike helped us out and he went above and beyond to make sure we purchased a bedroom set that we LOVE. We couldn’t be any happier with our visit there today. Thank you again, Mike! We will be visiting again in the future because of how friendly and welcoming their staff is.
