Brio Solar Energy

We purchased our solar system through BRIO in early 2017. They were helpful and effective. Since then we have been working on obtaining the State tax credit. The installer was supposed to provide us with the required documentation but, has been AWAL. I stopped into the BRIO offices in Provo and Julie was very willing to help me. She was prompt and friendly. Later I needed a statement of payment in full from the installer and Eric Payne at BRIO went over and above the call and managed to obtain the very document I required. Thanks for the great customer support.

Overall, we had a great experience with Brio. The gentleman that sold us the system made us feel VERY comfortable and did not put any pressure for us to buy from him. He even offered for us to look around for a better deal and said he would price match any other company's proposal. It didn't take long for us to realize that Solar with Brio was a great fit for us. The process took some time but the installers did a great job and we couldn't be more happy with our system. They have a great referral program so we definitely recommend going with Brio!

We are in the beginning stages of getting our solar, just had the inspection done today. So far everyone has been very nice and helpful. They've made sure we understand every step and really include us to ensure we are happy with the end result. I'll update once the process is finished. Update 12/11/17 Well five months later and we are paying our regular power bill plus our solar bill (we took out a loan for it). We call Brio and they look up our account and it never has any " notes in the account so someone will have to call us back." They always tell us they'll call same day but usually not for a day or two. They tell us someone will be out on a certain day then two weeks goes by, no call and no one coming by. Now we are told they haven't done anything because they need to decide who has to pay for an update the city wants after installation. Then last week they blamed not being able to come by "because of weather" only that excuse doesn't work because it's been at least two months since the inspection failed after installation. What a joke. I do not recommend this company to anyone. I couldn't be more disappointed and frustrated.

I had given them a 5 star review previously but now I need to change it to a 1. We didnt get the service that we were promised. We were told that the solar would cover all of our energy needs but it only covered about half. They sent a tech out to see if it was the panels, he restarted the system but still the same thing. Now they arent returning our calls or emails. Very terrible service.

We met with Sawyer this evening to discuss the advantages of solar energy/panels in our home. His presentation was very thorough and he was very patient as we asked a seemingly endless number of questions. He was able to answer each of the questions to our satisfaction made it easy for us to make an informed decision that was right for us. Sawyer was very personable and it was a pleasure to have him in our home.
