My son I arrived at the lodge last Sunday and were greeted by a friendly sign at the door welcoming us by name and was telling us what room we are in. There was no long check in or anything like that. We got comfortable in our somewhat cozy room and went out to explore the neighborhood. The meals at the lodge are all home cooked and taste fantastic. Ray, the manager of the facility was very helpful explaining is how everything works. We saw him every morning at breakfast and then again for dinner after a long day of fishing and he always asked everyone about their experiences of the day. This was a very nice gesture. BUT the best of everything was our experience fishing. We stayed for 4 days and fished for 3. The fishing was just out of this world. We caught 9 huge Red Fish the first day with Todd who was an excellent guide and the next day we went offshore fishing for Tuna with Hunter at Paradise Outfitters and caught the state limit of 3 Tunas per person. Fishing by the oil rigs was incredible. It is pricey but highly recommend it. Check out the photos attached. The third day we fly fished and had another super experience with our guide Dave. Again, I can highly recommend Cajun Fishing Adventure if you want to experience something you have never done before. Thanks Ray for making this an incredible trip!

Tried Cajun F/A on a whim last year for the early part of duck season. The ducks were not really down but we had a great time. We still shot plenty of ducks and had a great time with our guide, Cody, who was about 1/3 our ages. Food was excellent. If you get a chance try to get the guest house behind the lodge...it was truly a pleasure and easy sleeping.
We are returning this year with one more hunter. Cody and the entire staff was very tolerant of us Yankees. I recommend.

My dad and I stumbled upon this place online while we were visiting Louisiana. We both said it was one of the best days of our lives. My dad has fished all his life and he said he has never caught more fish than he did today at Cajun Fishing Adventures. We had Capt. Curtis LeNorman as our guide. Everyone we met was extremely friendly and helpful. The meals were absolutely delicious and rooms very clean and comfortable. The lodge was a great place to relax and the actual fishing trip was a once in a lifetime experience. I would recommend this place to any of my friends and will most certainly be heading back there for another fishing trip in the near future.
Caught Redfish, Trout, Flounder, Drum, Sheep's Head, and some Catfish.
Walked away with more fish meat than we knew what to do with.
