Good food. Gave it 4 stars because I feel like you can get the same thing lots of places in NOLA. We enjoyed the band that played. That's something a little harder to find, for some reason... restaurants with good Cajun/zydeco music. My dad and his wife were in from out of state and really excited to hear live zydeco music. Did not disappoint. Service is a bit slow, so don't expect it to be a quick meal. However, our server was awesome. Felicia is her name. Ready with suggestions, very friendly and accommodating. (She just seems like a lovely person in general.) And definitely had that New Orleans hospitality. I would probably go back again just for her and the music.

First, consider getting there early if you aren't interested in the music and dancing. If you are going in the evening, there will be a line out the door and you can expect music, dancing and you can participate if you'd like. Our server greeted us promptly and when I didn't care for my meal it was replaced with a delicious blackened chicken Alfredo. The bread pudding was to die for and had a very generous helping. I'd visit again if only for the bread pudding! Bottom line? I'd make a stop there if I were visiting new Orleans.

The food was amazing. The service was terrible and they have questionable business practices when it comes to gratuity. We had a party of 4, two couples. When we asked for checks the waitress asked if we wanted separate checks, we informed her we would do each couple together. When our waitress (who barely checked on us the entire time) delivered our checks we were astounded to see 18% gratuity already charged. One of our group recalled seeing on the menu that it said for parties of 5+ it would be charged. We asked our waitress and she informed us that it also included “split checks” for the 18%. It would have been WONDERFUL if the waitress had informed/reminded us of the automatic charge for splitting our checks. The service was not worth the 18%... our appetizer wasn’t delivered till our food was so it came out cold and it took over 45 minutes for our food to be delivered AND as mentioned above, the waitress barely checked on us. Very disappointed. It was a terrible way to end dinner, especially considering the food was so great.

Good seafood restaurant. Arrived at 5pm with no wait. Danny was out server and was excellent! He got us to try alligator bites and his description was exactly correct! He also allowed for a substitution at no cost even after another server told us no! Excellent customer service! Also offered a to go cup ! He was awesome ! A must try

A first time visitor to New Orleans and I thought this might fit the bill for the Cajun experience. The Zydeco music was catchy and got my foot tapping providing some atmosphere to what is a large open plan restaurant. We tried a couple of Creole platters between two of us which was plenty especially as it was almost all deep fried. The food was OK without being anything special, the staff pleasant but adding the music lifted it from a 3 to a 4 star.
