Camping World of Cedar Falls

This was my first time stopping at this location in Cedar Falls, IA and I can only say good things about it. Starting with Amanda at the front desk upon walking in. She heard me asking about cleaning supplies and actually had suggestions for what I should use. Her knowledge from being in detail was very helpful. Next would be Nikki in the service department. She was a big help explaining how to operate a few things on my camper. I ended up buying a few things this trip, but plan to return again. Both girls were a blessing. Thank you girls at Camping World!!!

Nikki helped us out and she was great! Nikki answered all of our questions and helped us more even after she had checked out and was leaving for the day. She put her stuff in her car and came back over to us to get us on our way. Cody did our walkthrough and he was very patient. Answered all of our questions and went over everything with us, explaining some things we had not encountered before in our previous campers. Very good customer service. Our experiences with Camping World have left us satisfied.

For those first time RV buyers. First of all if your going to purchase an RV for the first time, definitely go see Tom Berns. We were looking for a used RV for our first venture into purchasing an RV. We rented one the previous fall and absolutely loved the travel experience, especially watching the kids interact with each other and have the ability to make a pizza and use the bathroom while traveling down the road. Tom understood what we were looking for and I know all salesman will tell you what you want to hear, but Tom truly heard what we were saying. Nikki the warranty coordinator was sweet and took care of us even though we bought an As is RV. The service department made sure the RV was ready for us to go on the road (the next day) for a 2000 mile trip, and even stayed late getting it ready. We knew exactly what we were getting into with this 25 year old RV and the experience with Camping World in Cedar Falls was excellent.

We had a rather mixed experience at Camping World Cedar Falls. Tom in Sales was great. He listened to what we were looking for and found a pre-owned that was perfect. I loved Carrie's enthusiasm about everything! Justin was our tech - he was great at explaining our camper to us since it was all new to us. Nikki was super nice and helpful. Our final stop gets the mixed reviews. Mike was energetic and very good about explaining the huge amount of info he had to review. However, once we declined the extended offers, he basically shut down and couldn't get us out of his office fast enough. We felt rushed through the signing of the final paperwork and then all of a sudden we were done and on our way. All in all, we had a great experience at Camping World and will likely return. This review is just a reminder that EVERY customer should be made to feel important through the entire process, even if the extra commission doesn't work out. Thanks Camping World Cedar Falls! We are very excited to use our camper this summer.

Service department is a joke. They did fix the main complaint the trailer went in for two years ago, completely ignored replacing the converter which was bad. They left the work area completely dirty. They ran the slide out with the bathroom door open. Destroyed the doorknob, which they did replace, it popped the wall out so far it pulled the drainpipe for the plumbing loose. I had to actually remove the wall and fix this myself. For buying parts and installing them yourself, they have them at competitive prices. Unless you buy your RV from them, the service department has little interest in fixing your RV. I was even told I should go where it was bought. They denied any responsibility other than replacing the door knob. Will never service another RV again here.
