Came to this place to get a car. Was told that I needed another co signer with stronger credit. Left this place went to another dealership the same day utilized the same co signer and got a brand new 2018 vehicle and didn’t require a down payment. They should not advertise that they work with people with any type of credit because that is a lie.

I had narrowed my research to 3 vehicles. The 3rd was 10,000 less than the other 2 but had the mileage to make up for it. The 3rd car was at this Midlothian CarLotz location. I went to the other dealerships first. Great experiences and was making my choice very difficult. Came to this location, was greeted inside (No one came outside) and I informed them of the vehicle I was interested in. One person went to pull the vehicle around while another wanted me to fill out a form and wanted to make a copy of my driver's license. I included my name and phone number on the form and showed my driver's license, but told them they could not make a copy and asked what was the purpose. They said it was to test drive it even with one of them with me. I asked what the purpose was for the copy. I asked for the reason as I had just been to 2 dealerships and tested more expensive vehicles and they didn't even ask anything about my driver's license. The other dealerships handed me the keys, answered all my questions, showed me various functions, and told me to test drive them. CarLotz wanted a copy. I said I pass and walked out. Meanwhile, the vehicle had been pulled around. It was filthy...as in dirty and even had red dirt splattered under the rear from the tires. Easy to keep my decision narrowed to the 2 previous vehicles. And I will not be going back to this dealership for any reason.

Awesome experience with this group. From the first calll we felt important. Zach and Aaron were super helpful and answered all of our questions. We travelled 4 hours to pick up our new vehicle and was greeted with smiles and warmth. Freddy was really sweet and imformative with our test drive and Aaron was very knowledgable and helpful with our out of state paperwork and procedures. Couldn't be more pleased. Thanks for everything. Highly recommend this group for your car buying needs.

This is the best way to buy a car. The staff is knowledgeable and polite. I was looking around town for a used BMW and this was the best price in town. When I arrived I didn't feel any pressure tactics from the staff. I had my own financing worked out already so the process was rather quick. I will recommend Carlotz to my friends and family. I'm very happy with my car I'm always getting compliments on how nice it looks. Thank you
