Carolina Ear & Hearing Clinic

This practice helped my father in-law get a hearing aid that worked when others did not. He lived in NY State but came here for his care. It definitely increased his quality of life in his last years. My wife has gone to them. A friend of mine had a tumor removed and saved his hearing. Now I'm going to them. Dr McElveen and is staff deserve the praise they get. When I retire and move away from Raleigh, I still expect to come to this practice for my hearing care.

I was diagnosed with meniers disease by doctor mcleveen in 2012. Once I was diagnosed I started to watch my sodium along with taking the diuretic in which doctor mcleveen recommend. Initially it worked but the vertigo hit me like a brick wall. So in 2015 doctor mcleveen performed an vestibular nerve section on my involved ear. The recovery process was no joke. I listened to what doctor mcleveen told me to do by doing the balance exercise's and walking. After several months my balance returned to normal but I was determined to recover as quick as possible. It has been approximately 2 and a half years now since the surgery and I have thankfully been vertigo free. I do have moderate hearing loss but I have an hearing aid that helps with that. I have nothing but grateful gratitude toward doctor mcleveen and his staff for helping me, they are true professionals at what they do.

Decided to switch to this practice after a recommendation from a friend and wasn’t disappointed! Dr. McElveen and the rest of the staff seemed knowledgeable and were friendly. Fingers crossed, I haven’t had any issues since my visit! Would definitely recommend this practice!

It was easy to get an appointment within a few days of calling. Arrived a few minutes early day of appointment and the NP saw me on the scheduled time. Everyone was very nice and professional. Great job guys! See you in a year for follow-up. Thanks
