I went to look into dog or cat adoption. Very nice facility. Emphasis on finding good...

I adopted my cat Morgana from CCSPCA today. Very friendly staff and people come in and my boy is very healthy and happy! Though I will say in this review do beware of getting animals at any shelter. Be sure you know what you want and look around. Definitely satisfied with adopting an animal there and having Morgana part of our forever home! 💕

I have eye witnessed the employees kicking the dogs once when I went to pick my puppy when the SPCA came into my back yard and pulled my dogs out (3,) because I was not home. Neighbors witnessed what they were doing, called authorities and called me to alert me as to the goings on. One time they came on my property demanding I show them City licenses. I told her to get off my fu¢king property or if cane her head in with my baseball bat. She called the police on me.I explained that I told had to get off my property and she wouldn't leave. Told them all to come back with proper paperwork. Eventually the cops left because I was right and she was trespassing.

Very poor care of animals. Recently adopted a cute 10 month old terrier mix and brought her home to find out that not only was she severly dehydrated and underweight for her size but she also had an upper respiratory infection but also had kidney damage due to lack of medical care. They also spayed her and the vet that saw her after I brought her home said that her immune system was not in good enough shape to undergo surgery at the time. Needless to say no animal should be held or treated in these conditions. Hopefully my sweet new pup does not have to be put to sleep due to the conditions in which she was kept.

Very friendly and helped my fill out my paper work to be a sponsor. Cathy is very helpful when i call and have questions about the kittens I'm fostering and is very patient with my questions. Looking forward to adopting my foster when the time comes!

The staff here is really enthusiastic and passionate about their animals. This seems like the largest in the Fresno area and in being so, I think they are overwhelmed. The kennels are full and it's difficult to keep clean. We got there a few minutes early on a Saturday morning and saw at least 5 new dogs coming in before they opened. We adopted that day. I hope that they can receive more support because they definitely deserve it for all the great work.
